Wow!! Hi, my hubby is from Khartoum, Sudan. While we were talking about food, it came to his mind this dish so I looked for it on Safari. Now I can finally cook this as this is not too complicated to cook. Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you, Asedo for this recipe. I like one pot recipe that I can eat on its own or with salad. I am going to try this.

I’ve never seen dill paste in the United States, though it can probably be bought somewhere. I have seen garlic paste. Can I make dill and garlic paste?

If you can’t find it, that’s okay because you can use fresh dill. I used the paste because I didn’t have fresh dill. Fresh dill can be chopped into small pieces or ground in a mortar & pestle. You can use it for the garlic too. Thank you ❤️

Can someone guide me on how do you make dill paste? Do you just grind fresh dill? I am an Indian and we don't usually use dill paste. Thank you

I used store bought dill paste because I didn’t have fresh dill but you can grind or chop fresh dill
