Great video and great tips! I agree on the 3/4 thing. I often tend to realize that my pace slowed down approximately at that moment (8th km in a 10k, 3rd or 4th km in a 5k race). Thanks for sharing your experience and tips and congratulations on your performances! 😊
Should’ve found your channel when I was doing xc in high school lol, wasnt good at all but I did keep doing it since I enjoyed it. The xc community in general is just so nice from my experience.
Thank you for these really helpful tips! Please do more videos on improving running! I am going to Yale in the fall, and I will be doing ROTC + joining the military. I am working on improving my race times!
Hi! I am Cross Country runner on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This year, was my first year running with a team; I found it quite fun but tough at times. Listening/watching this video has encouraged me and provided me with such great tips for running races. I will definitely take 'smiling' into consideration and setting goals! Thank you so much for sharing this video, and I wish you a Safe and Healthy June!
Hey dude! Any increase in volume should lead to an increase in speed, the key is to find what’s right for you and make sure you increase at an safe rate. I’ve heard you should never go up in mileage by more than 10% each week (meaning if you want to increase from 50 go to 55). Just keep inching your way up and you should see improvement 👍🏽
Sorry, dear Charles. I don't like when you speak too fast, on your video. I am from Rancho, South Brazil. And I like to study English. Alone, of course. Hugs from the old turtle 😊😊
I can confirm that the smiling trick works. Managed to drop a smexy mile time bc of this trick. 👌
Good to hear bro 😂

I’m in high school I’m not that good right now but I really want to improve. How much miles per week should I run to see significant improvement?
