Collaborative Packaging and Palletizing System
FANUC’s Authorized System Integrator EK Roboter S.A. designed and built a turnkey packaging and palletizing system for a pharmaceutical customer. This example handles tubes of vitamins in bandings of 12 cases each. The system highlights collaborative packaging and palletizing including box assembly and product grouping.
A FANUC CRX-10iA cobot builds cases and places them at the packaging station where it packs product by pushing it from the conveyor. The boxes then continue on the conveyor to the end of the line where a FANUC CR-35iA heavy-payload cobot picks and palletizes full cases.
