I just exchanged my android phone for a 14 pro max, and eh honestly it’s not like a huge upgrade, yes the software is light years better and the experience is amazing but it’s so tailored that you can’t do anything else, you can’t install custom apps without fiddling with sideloading, you can’t download music from the internet, you can’t transfer files from the phone to pc or vice versa, you can’t even manually set the focus on the camera… these are just the things that make my experience worse as a power user, but someone that doesn’t care about the technical nitpicks should definitely get an iPhone and not an android (I have no idea why i commented this on a comparison video between and the 12 and 13 but here we are)

Also you have better display with more brightness in 13 with better battery backup compared to 12 more durable. Longer software support from Apple as well as fresh design. It has newer chipset and also the notch is smaller which makes it look better compared to 12 so for all of this 100$ makes sense
