From Find a Grave: "There once was an Akron Evangelical Methodist Church [where the Steiners are buried] built 1895 ... The church was destroyed in 1924, rebuilt in 1925, then struck by lightning in 1926, and never rebuilt."
I worked at a laying farm there were belts that brought the eggs to me, I inspected and cleaned them, but if there were any fractures I couldn't see they were handled at the plant, went home every day smelling horrible.
I love the variety you have in your videos. The cemetery, houses, outbuildings, snacks, and wonderful scenery. Those grapes sure looked tasty. Too bad you weren't able to make it inside that huge brick house, but it was probably for the best as it looked a bit too dangerous... and empty.
What a beautiful home! Such a stately presence with this one. Rarely does one see a full brick farmhouse. Luv the cookout at the end. Lightning lake is in our back yard. With you down this way so much a colab is inevitable 🤌 Stay exploring my friend
I don't think that house was originally brick. It appears to have had wooden siding and at one point someone thought it would be good to put a brick facade. Brick houses of that age were usually several layers thick and not of wood frame.

Hello there!! I think those large vines were wisteria. What a good day that turned out to be and you even got a tasty treat for your visit.😋Love the sunset and I absolutely enjoyed your videos take care and thank you.👍💞💞💞🌱
I like graveyards, my only problem is mostly not enough time to read all the stones, It's always cool to find one with a birth date (late 19th, early 20th century ) and no date of death, one wonders if that person is still walking around at 121years old
Never heard anyone crunch grapes and sound like a chipmunk. Come back with some buckets and harvest some for grapes, they look sweet and juicy. Homemade wine!
Did I miss? Re 'Grandpa's' Farmhouse whose Grandpa. Was curious on the brick house inside, just with the bricks falling off, great idea Not to go inside...

Goodness!! That's amazing thank you.👍💞🙏🕊️
4:36 possibly the calmest reaction anybody's ever had to realising there are multiple hornets inches away from their hand
😂
The box with the bulb could have been used to examine eggs. My grandmother was on a chicken farm and they used to use candles to do that.
I wondered what that contraption was thank you.😊

looks likes a harvest room for processing livestock and doing laundry, great video, thank you
Yes guess the woman of the house wanted the laundry done separate.

Thanks Ben :)
Yes indeed with the roof deteriorating and walls and floor falling down., although that middle window out back did look suspicious.
Great find, thank you. Btw, you only said, " . . . So." 19 Times, lol!
ONLY 19 times! Wow! Thats gotta be a new record low hahaha
Just after the forth headstone you step over one that is flush with the ground, that is almost completely covered with grass.

I wonder if the brick exterior on the first house is original, since most old houses like it, would usually have a double brick construction.
I don’t believe it was originally brick. It was applied later over the wood siding. That is why it failed.
Love your videos, interesting with the gravestones, they do tell a story. Brick house looked like a nice size house. Thank you again
I love it when you start out in a cemetery. 👍😊. I enjoyed watching your exploration and cookout. Thank you Farm Hunter
You betcha!!
Love the way you show these historical properties. So many lives are lived and lost at these homes for so many years. If they could only talk.

I think you're right 👍
I admire you. Wish I lived closer, I would love to tag along sometime. Great video as always

Thanks for latching the car door, that bugged me last time, lol.....I'm a nerd like that.
The light in the box is for candling eggs ( to make sure the egg is not fertilized)
Yes they more than likely checked for that back then, but sadly now days they do slip by.
I love the rural area's and farmhouses.
Wonderful Brick Farmhouse it should be equipped with a Brick Shithouse?
I would imagine so! I would only be fitting
Cool.
Gotta wonder just how old it is. Wood, brick, now from rotting half wood again.
Sure looks good!.
The brick house the second window opening. For a moment I thought there was some movement. All the way back of the inside;of the house.
At 7:02 maybe that was where they added in a bathroom.
E ery Minnesota farm dating from before World War II has at least one ringer washing machine on the property.
Hope you saved some of them seeds to grow your own grapes on the property you are stripping. 😉😉☺
I love it cooking with Farm Hunter
😉
Make some jelly!
Just pointing out at 10:15 you said the rear tag on the car was 1983 when in fact its 1993 then you said it again about 2 minutes later.😁😁😁😁
Youre correct hehe

A birth date with no death date was a baby who was usually stillborn, or perhaps died shortly after birth.
Don't eat the seeds! I only made 4 batches grape jam this year! Where are these vines?

I was thinking the same thing.👍😜
Thats a great butane cooker. Is there a brand name with that? I want one too.
Porta-Chef I believe
Just googled it and I found one for $25 on Ebay. New too!

I just named it that because it was clear an old man had been the last one to live there
Are you in America?
