Please more of Talk Talk!!❤️🔥 There 's so much more of them to react on! such a shame, living in another world, llife's what you make it are other great 80s songs of them. By the way their live performances were absolutely stunning!
@johnparke659 THAT Gwen Stefani was so horribly disrespectful, there was absolutely no conviction in her delivery, like there is with Talk Talk's vocals, the harder beat, etc.
It’s so lovely to see you guys enjoy this !! They had a concert on July 11 1986, Montreux, Switzerland where they performed this live - SO SO good. One of THE best live concerts EVER. They are a stellar band.❤
This is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. It’s the defining new wave/pop song of the 80s in my opinion. I listen to this at last twice a week. This is a perfect song and video for Easter Sunday. The group No Doubt did a cover of this but it doesn’t come close to this gem. So glad y’all are into it! Thanks guys!
Love this original as it came out in a gorgeous time that I remember in my childhood. I nearly lost my mind when No Doubt released the cover * fantastic for bike rides to work!!! * You guys wonderful!!! 😻
Mark Hollis had one of the most amazing voices, romantic , sexy and haunting at the same time. This is one of my favorite songs of all time ❤❤❤❤❤ Rest in peace Mark.
More please ... such a shame, tomorrow started and there later progressive rock from color of spring album. mark hollis influenced so many future musicians ... then suddenly left the industry but wrote so many top songs. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No Doubt covered this song and it is amazing. I grew up in the 80’s so I loved this song and then in the 90’s when No Doubt covered it I actually like it better
Love this song ! Big hit in the eighties in the dance clubs , I remember dancing to this ! This song has been remixed quite a few times , there's a lot of fast versions of it !
From 1984 it was a huge hit and stands up ~ Shawn got it rights it’s a Banger! Check out Life’s what you make it - the perfect companion to this great track and another awesome video.
Gwen steffani did a remake in 2002. She's a child of the 80s it's no wonder where she's got her inspiration from. It's a beautiful song. RIP to Hollis who passes about 4 years ago.
Great video, the other good talk talk music is “its a Shame” “my foolish Friend”, “life is what you make it” and finally “Living in another world” all official video are excellent. Keep up with the good work.
YOU HAVE TO SEE MARK HOLLIS SING THIS LIVE!! YOU THINK YOU LISTENING TO THE ALBUM. FACTS!!! I SEEN HIM THE OTHER DAY. DAMN!!! FROM 1984. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! HE TORN THE PAINT OFF THE WALLS!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Going to be honest. It took me a while to warm up to the Talk Talk version of the song, due in part to how good No Doubt's version was. But I also feel that back in the day only a really low quality version of Talk's version was available too. In recent years I find it just as easy to listen to now.
Completely the opposite for me. And I like No Doubt. Theirs is a cover and nothing else. The tempo is the same and the arrangement very similar, which made the whole thing pointless to me. Undoubtedly, it brought in a lot of money to Mark Hollis and company, which couldn't have been a bad thing.
Wow she really broke this song down. I didn't understand it that way. Very cool. Will you guys please react to Bad Girl by Madonna. It has a great video
Well, the video never got me. It's kinda strange or ... I don't know. But the song and the band!!! Best of 80ies without a doubt. How I miss this decade, those bands and songs 🥲
Mark Hollis' voice always gets me close to tears 😢
He had such a unique voice.
It came out in 1984!😊
Mark Hollis sang with such emotion. He is truly missed. RIP Mark.
RIP Mark Hollis. Another great British singer gone way too soon.

Living in Another World! I'll second that.
I loved this song the first time I heard it and still listen to it
Yes, you are correct that this is definitely from the 80s - it was a hit in 1984. No Doubt had a big hit with a remake of this in 2003/2004.
This was a Huge Video on MTV when it first came out. We used to call it our National Geographic video!
Awesome choice, this song is in my all time top 20!🔥
It’s in my top 1
@johnparke659 THAT Gwen Stefani was so horribly disrespectful, there was absolutely no conviction in her delivery, like there is with Talk Talk's vocals, the harder beat, etc.

Very underrated band in the 80s but everything they did was gold.
Love this original as it came out in a gorgeous time that I remember in my childhood. I nearly lost my mind when No Doubt released the cover * fantastic for bike rides to work!!! * You guys wonderful!!! 😻

Ah! The 80's
Thanks. A lot of kids know this song from Gwen Stefani but never knew this is where it came from
Gwen stole a lot from the 80s.
@@ursulabklyn_mia6148 "Stole"? Maybe she's just commemorating it since she was a teenager that decade.
Talk Talk did a song called Talk Talk and YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!
This song live at Montreux is stunning.
No Doubt covered this song and it is amazing. I grew up in the 80’s so I loved this song and then in the 90’s when No Doubt covered it I actually like it better
Great song! Remember, you come into this world alone and you go out alone in a split second. No fear, rather be free ❤️

RIP Mark Hollis. I alsolove his voice on the song LIFE'S WHAT YOU MAKE IT.
This was about 1983/84. I always thought the video was weird 😏
Happy 🐣 Easter
Happy Easter
My life never ends
You needed to react to the live version in Dortmund Germany. These guys were the real deal.
Such a big radio hit when it came out
Definitely one of my favorite 80s songs.
Great video, the other good talk talk music is “its a Shame” “my foolish Friend”, “life is what you make it” and finally “Living in another world” all official video are excellent. Keep up with the good work.

1982 and waa and still in the playlist you should check out Such a Shame geat song also by Talk Talk
Love this original version
As good as this is their song "Life's What You Make It" is my favorite by them.
Going to be honest. It took me a while to warm up to the Talk Talk version of the song, due in part to how good No Doubt's version was. Gwen stefani covered this song in the 90s but the original was in the 80s
Zeitlos gut
RIP Mark hollie
1984 I think
I used to think this was Roxy Music.
Different voice than Bryan Ferry but the music and mood are similar.
84😊
React to talk talk by the music machine
Early 80s is
ya gotta try "Talk Talk" by talk talk
From the album "Talk Talk"
You got to watch live versions. Tip from random person
When listening to a lot garbage 🗑 music and you get great music and listen for 40 years
I FORGOT ALREADY!!! 🙄👎🏾
It’s too bad you used this homemade nature collage instead of a live video that there are many of. You missed out.
"homemade" ??? LOL. This is the official video and it's amazing.
My God, compare Mark Hollis, Talk Talk, It’s My Life to the absolute garbage that passes for music today.
Life is what you make it,also a good track
Y’all need to see the band live playing that “It’s my life”. Live
Well, the video never got me. It's kinda strange or ... I don't know. But the song and the band!!! Best of 80ies without a doubt. How I miss this decade, those bands and songs 🥲
