I don’t think there was ever a more dramatic or heartfelt winner on American Idol than Phillip Phillips. He was so ill at that time but he pushed on. I will always remember this young man. Many times I will hear this song being played on loud speakers in different venues . I was so happy to see him the other day on LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK.

After watching the audition of him and his dad said he was so proud and that was way back then and now he won!! So incredible I'm so happy for him!!
