I know it’s not the same, but I got pregnant at 30. This is me, I was a nanny throughout my 20s the eldest of a family of six and honestly think husbands are more stress than the kids. People are weird. That’s all I’m gonna say about people who hate or same others life choices. After watching all the relationships in my life from my parents to my sisters to my brothers, the last thing I want is a relationship. And guess what? Most of these relationships that I got/get to watch are straining and stressful because of men! Not saying all men are trash, because they certainly not, hell, the men in my life aren’t trash. Most just aren’t raised properly or are raised to be these big strong emotionless guys, who are “meant” to be in control of everything and get what they want. Which is usually taught by, you guessed it, their fathers. Unpopular opinion, but children DO NOT need two parents, sometimes it’s the last thing they need. I’m only 19 but as of right now I don’t want a relationship but I want children, and I want them young. So that’s what I’ll do 🤷♀️ My mom said “you want to be a mom, not a wife or girlfriend” and that’s exactly it!! You can’t always have children or have children at any point in your life, but you can always get into a relationship at any point! If I meet someone I truly love and who meets my standards (standards are not a bad thing, and they should never be lowered. We see what happens when they are) then that’s great! But I’m having kids first and fulfilling that dream of mine without the stress and anxiety of a relationship because people wanted me to settle for less!!

Please, babies are not objects of your liking to have, they have emotions. Its an intelligent life form, a human. I know it’s not the same, but I got pregnant at 30. I have a job and the whole support of my family, my ex turned out to be a lier who was scamming women and cheating on me it was pretty traumatic to realize I got pregnant by this guy, but I decided to have the baby and I know I will be a single mother even though he told me he wanted to be part of this, but there’s no way.
So I’m embracing this journey all by myself and this video is inspiring, women can do everything.

This is me, I was a nanny throughout my 20s the eldest of a family of six and honestly think husbands are more stress than the kids. So I think I would like to do the kids part, but no hubby to have to constantly cater to. I have a large family that all live within 20 minutes so it's not like I would be doing this alone.

I've been wanting to have a baby of my own since I turned 20. I know that i will never be lucky in finding a romantic partner, i have a stable job, i finished school already and I've been wanting to either adopt or undergo and IVF because I (believe it or not) prefer to raise my own kid on my own, even without a dad. I hate to break it to you, but the leading cause of death in people under 30 is suicide and I can tell you for a fact that they weren't all raised by single mothers by choice.

What about the father's that suffer from substance abuse, that are physically and emotionally abusive? A home that is toxic with anger and constant fighting and bickering?

Simply put, a child thrives in a home where he or she is loved, where they are wanted, nurtured and cared for. Single mothers taking on the responsibilities of 2 parents creates a highly stressful environment for the kids, when the mother decides to find a bf and goes through them like batteries the child she has is constantly experiencing fatherlessness every time they get a attached to her new bf then he leaves all of a sudden. This whole dysfunctional family dynamic causes a lot of emotional problems for the child they will struggle to have proper meaningful relationships, social skills and self identity. Weather a father walks out on a mother or a wife tragically dies leaving the father to raise their children, there will always be non traditional families, so why harp on people who choose to go this route out of love, why discourage them, call them selfish just because they chose this path. Why deny a child from ever being born, a child that could go on to do great things, regardless of your so called statistics.
There are plenty of examples of children raised by single moms that grow up to be amazing human beings, and then there are plenty of examples of children raised by a mom and dad that grow up to be just like you.
Oh and by the way, I was raised in a home with both a dad and a mom, my parents are still happily together after 35 years, but growing up I've seen and watched many families stay together, even if they shouldn't have and I've witnessed the detrimental affects it's had on their kids as children and as adults.

If a woman is at a point where her fertility is declining and she can't find a man to settle down and have kids with, she shouldn't have to settle just for the sake of having kids. People are weird. That’s all I’m gonna say about people who hate or same others life choices. After watching all the relationships in my life from my parents to my sisters to my brothers, the last thing I want is a relationship. And guess what? Most of these relationships that I got/get to watch are straining and stressful because of men! Not saying all men are trash, because they certainly not, hell, the men in my life aren’t trash. Most just aren’t raised properly or are raised to be these big strong emotionless guys, who are “meant” to be in control of everything and get what they want. Which is usually taught by, you guessed it, their fathers. Unpopular opinion, but children DO NOT need two parents, sometimes it’s the last thing they need. I’m only 19 but as of right now I don’t want a relationship but I want children, and I want them young. So that’s what I’ll do 🤷♀️ My mom said “you want to be a mom, not a wife or girlfriend” and that’s exactly it!! You can’t always have children or have children at any point in your life, but you can always get into a relationship at any point! If I meet someone I truly love and who meets my standards (standards are not a bad thing, and they should never be lowered. We see what happens when they are) then that’s great! But I’m having kids first and fulfilling that dream of mine without the stress and anxiety of a relationship because people wanted me to settle for less!!

Please, babies are not objects of your liking to have, they have emotions. Its an intelligent life form, a human. Once this baby fever goes away, this reality will kick in, a baby having a life without proper care. There is a reason for humans having to do sex to give birth to a child and not self reproduction. You are simply ignoring the role of a dad in giving birth a baby and being a single mom. I feel bad for any child born in this way. Such a selfish act for a person to do.
Also a non biological second parent can never substitute for the biological one. There is a reason people want to have their own babies and not simple adoption. Please don't be dilutional. Children also feel the same, they need to be able to relate to their parent by blood. A parenting done by a biological mother and a father can never be substituted by a second mom or dad.
