- 第 4 個小朋友即將出世，每次親子活動出行，我媽咪連同施母及我自己，加起來剛好 7 個人，換 7 人車已經勢在必行。心目中有三個目標，分別是 #ModelX #Discovery #GLB，首重安全，二是車身夠高，大人不會頂到上車頂，三是後方要夠寬敝，而且上落容易。
三個車款，你們會如何選？不知道大家又有沒有其他推介？

Volkswagen van, 如果長期有over 5位用家買SUV會好麻煩, 小朋友雜物行李亦比較多
如果在加拿大有咁多家庭成員，我會選擇一架七人van(載人+載雜物), 再買一架 Mid size SUV (如果唔全家出動). 始終Mid size SUV 不適合七人。Range Rover Discovery 係加拿大口碑唔係咁好，好多小問題。

@@Money-Tab 如果考慮加拿大七人車，我提議豐田sienna或你所講本田Odyssey, 其它車有維修問題。加拿大修理汽車很貴，車行收加幣一百多元人工一個鐘，加上零件會好肉痛。如果唔嫌貴，midsize 可考慮Porsche Macan. 當然歐洲車比較貴同高級，一分錢一分貨。豐田同本田比較耐用同慳錢。但係鋼料比較薄。凌志係加拿大最好，不過唔係歐洲車。最後，每一款車都有檸檬車，睇你好唔好彩。
@@jonho1837 I have two Odyssey in my family without any issue. But it doesnt come with 4x drive so that might be an issue in snowy Canada. I dont think any minivan comes with 4x. A large Suv probably your best bet and might be a mid size sedan or wagon with 4x along the side of the suv your best solution.

@@jonho1837 Actually Toyota Sienna (minivan) has 4wd trim line available. Personally, the so called "7-seater" that you tried should really be considered as 5+2. The "2" at the 3rd row are really for short trip and kids only. Your kids probably will outgrow the space back there by age 10 or 12. If you really need/want the passenger to seat comfortably, there's no better solution than a minivan, or a full size SUV (those being used by car-service).

其實Benz GLS，BMW X7都可以考慮下～
一定discovery, defender同 evoque 兩條線非常喜歡，去加拿大最好用柴油版。 內飾好美，越野功能無出其右。Benz SUV唔特出，咁G class 係靚但功能同操控都麻麻地。Tesla 出左model 3走向mass market, 品牌值下降，當然model 3當couple 揸係好抵，但他的SUV就無個種嘩effect, 再講石油生屋國家用電動出怪怪感覺。
I agree, the seats of Model X are stiff. Have you guys tried the new X7? I have sat in one at a local BMW dealership, it was a nice experience with a very high premium feel all around. The seats are typical German soft high-end leather and it felt spacious inside. I love the Mercedes GLS is a good choice too. Someone mentions Honda and Toyota vans. Forget it. When we fly, we fly premium class, not economy class.
why not consider GLE, X5 7 seaters? for budget buy, try Hyundai Palisade which is not available in hk, but very popular in north america.
如果番Toronto 揸， 我會 prefer Land Rover Discovery (full size version, not Discovery Sport)。Full size Discovery 個車架係用Range Rover個鋁合金架 (Sport version印象中唔係）， 而且測試性能比sport version好（感覺上落大雪會安全D）；避陣又唔錯， 都幾舒服好揸㗎。 另外個truck夠大, 喺Toronto會比較practical。Sport version 最後排太窄嘞, 揸長途後座乘客會冇咁舒服，就算平時揸，highway 7都成日塞車啦。另外當第三排坐咗人之後，個truck只能裝好少嘢，未必夠用架。不過full size車身高，就算降低車身，多kids & elderly 嘅suggest加裝側板腳踏。
You are probably right too...and there aren’t any MPVs over there..
Discovery對唔同地勢一定比較好, 另外可以睇Volkswagen Sharan.

Discovery for sure driving in Canada , Model-X 要 charge 電，冬天freeway 唔夠電就大件事
用紧Mazda cx9，七座当5座用就好用，用后排，放部bb车都要难。
上次去多伦多开honda odyssey 好用，两部bb车再其他杂物，坐7人空间都好宽
Tesla X is a different class than the other ones you are looking at in the video. Comparable models are Audi Q7, MB GLS, BMW 7, Land Rover Range Rover, engine aside. If you need smaller SUV with 7-seats you can also look at VW Tiguran. To be honest, a mini van would be a better option to your criteria. You can make a minivan look really good as well.

又係歐洲車 安全又一定volvo贏 豪華氣派又唔少得 我都想睇睇xc90的感覺
再唔係近年嘅kia sorento都唔錯 不過等梗2021版本 型好多
千祈唔好買電池車，叉電要幾個鐘，冬天個電池好快死，冬天你揸長途車都唔知去邊度搵charging station，去montreal可能要10個鐘。最多買㗎hybrid
We are driving GLE 350 in the US and it feels very safe and sturdy. For safety, MZ is unbeatable. You do need a van for practical reason though. A lot of ppl drive van in US and canada. You have a lot of ppl so really justify. Tesla is handsome but not suitable for family and not practical. You need a big trunk to put grocery esp if you go to costco (lol...) and baby stuff. When the kids are older, you need to drive them to soccer games, any sports events and there are many gear. You really need to consider a van. MZ and BMW has good van
I think Audi Q7 is better than GLS. Easier access to the third row and slight bigger truck space when third row is up. And if you could get the Q7 virtual cockpit, that would be nicer too. I drove GLS, Q7, XC90 and land cruiser. Q7 is my favorite.

我住喺溫哥華，之前香港揸Landrover Discovery，電子野同避震經常壞，氣壓避震四條換左三條，嚟到Vancouver ，買Toyota Highlander七座位，舒適安全保養易二手價高，不過硬係要歐洲車，我就會推薦BenzGLE、BMW X7或Volvo XC90。加上你已出咗名，有四個細路再加靚靚歐洲車，小心俾人睇中綁架，日本車冇咁養眼，實而不華確係首選，請慎重考慮。

Tesla Model X 有好多好處先進科技不在話下 有Auto Pilot 等... 落雨天時嗰兩隻翼開咗擋雨後落車先開遮 你哋回流到加拿大時冇咗工人姐姐一家七口咁即係會經常要去超市 買完嘢直接放係車頭個儲物處好方便 又靜加速時又冇engine噪音聲 電費平油費接近三分二 又環保 好似加拿大電動車即將有減稅
Tesla 用家，我最中意停車唔洗熄匙，冷暖氣照開，狗仔照放響車去買野，我呢d(司機)大熱天時等人好好用，haha

屋企人多，始终觉得Van最好用。尤其系加拿大冬天冻，Van噶 sliding door方便老人家小朋友可以快速上车、关门，然后再慢慢整seat belt。实战经验，Honda Odyssey，最多可坐8个，价格实惠，装人装货一样方便。一家大细去转Costco，SUV装到人装唔到货。安顿好几位老板，然后再选部自己喜欢的，一个家庭两部车岩岩好。

If talking about safety, why don’t you go to have a look the Volvo XC90, made in Sweden, very spacious for 7 people, that’s lots of American love it, the price of new model T8 hybrid is also reasonable, around HK$680K is already including everything. It is on my wish list as well.
Land rover own by jaguar, not very reliable by review, so if you purchase new one must purchase warrenty package espesically diesel one. Tesla if you buy second hand the battery is only one year warrenty, which I think is it break down 3,000 to 7,000 USD replacement, also if you wish to have a ultimate fast charging with Tesla you need their power wall which is quite expensive as well.
C FU, 7人車一定要買MPV. 除左MPV 外既7人車都唔係好等洗, 如果唔中意日本車就買架v-class 之後改裝內竉(改到好似alphare甘就perfect啦, 唔改都得既). 買除MPV外既7人車, 你會後悔, 第3排太窄啦, 坐完人就攦唔到野, 仲要第3排腳長D 都頂L唔順. btw Q8,X7 都不錯既 如果講型同空間大. discovery 就咪搞啦.

In Canada, you should get a big SUV. If you don't like JDM, Benz GLS and BMW X7 are recommended. More reliable.
香港可以揀既7人車係好少既，除左你睇既GLB，Model X，Discovery之外，你可以睇Lexus，Volvo，Audio Q7，我睇，Infinite你唔考慮架啦。我相信加拿大同埋中國大陸選擇多好多。不如買Benz V class啦，不過架車好似貨van咁而且好長。
四個細路一人一架單車/Scooter, 加BB車... 買貨車可能好D

我要做富翁 It comes with 5 seats and third-row seating is a CAD2400+ option.
The 3rd row head room is adequate (if you are under 5'6") and may work in a pinch.
Agree! GLE is great choice, cheaper than X, around same size But both made in USA, not Germany ;-)
Land Rover means buying India car, and discovery possibly made in USA. lol
U want German, make sure buy made in Germany, sometime they change manufacturing plant, always check VIN. ;-)
我都岩岩回流多倫多，買左GLB感覺幾好，不過我平常4-5人用，加3 row package 係in case 有親戚過黎用，其實你人多就唔建議GLB， 同埋你用2架貴價車黎同GLB 比較，你不如用返GLS 黎比啦
GLB 尾排真心逼 如果成日要67人 都係GLC GLS
車最多用4,5年都賣出去，你d小朋友4,5年內size大到幾多? 基本上唔洗諗size同方便性，簡自己鐘意果部先，講外型一定係DS，身份像徵就tesla，glb就實惠同籠豪華
係加拿大做乜要揸glb😅 直接買架gls 享受下 平咁多 加拿大又易泊車 上highway又安全

For a European car, I would recommend MB only but GLB is too small & doesn't have enough power, other brands have a lot of reliability issues even they are brand new. Taking it back to the dealer often is also a headache. Are you sure your wife absolutely wants a small SUV especially you have 4 kids, I suggest renting a car for a month and shop the one you really like it because you are going to drive it for a couple of years? Otherwise, leasing is another option. I also suggest you should get a 4WD in Toronto, it is really useful in the snow season. For larger SUV, I suggest Japanese Lexus GX460/LX570, Acura MDX with good reliability. ModelX is a good option, but you have to pay the premium price that equivalent to MB GLS class or BMW X7. In the US, driving EV will get a 50% discount for your electricity bill and almost no maintenance cost that will discount the price you pay for the car.

第一站是九展先arm
Take a closer look at the Tesla falcon wing doors. When the roof is moist / raining outside, open the falcon wings, water will start pouring into the cabin (2nd row seats). Yes 'pouring' and not 'dripping'. Whoever is sitting there will be wet (seats and floor). It's a common issue. Also if the vehicle is flipped upside down, how are you going to open the falcon wings? Model X brake pads also would fall off (due to rust / moisture build up) within just 4000 miles / 7000 km. Not sure if Tesla updated their brake pads yet, but it's a known issue which you don't want to have while driving. They also have very popular suspension / axle / bushing prematurely failed. The vehicle is also cheaply made (yes the large screen looks cool, but it's just a large iPad which probably cost alot less than making a conventional dash). The dash and door panels are also very plasticky. The LR has very slow infotainment systems (can also be glitchy, go blank / reboot for no reason). If it has air suspension (like in the RR), they'll leak, but if u only keeping the car for 4-5yrs that will not be an issue. The MB GLB seems to be a better bet among the three, it's the smallest one but MB is inexpensive to maintain (at least in HK) - parts aren't that expensive and they are widely available. The MB's Augmented video / nav is also great to use.
Have you considered the Volvo XC or even the MB GLE? Also the Honda Odyssey will be a good choice also, it has low floor board (easy access for the kids and elderly) and great reliability. Alphard, while is very popular in HK, due to its high vehicle height, you may have trouble entering some garages. It also have higher floor board (feels like an SUV / Crossover).

Take a look at the Chevy Tahoe, 7 seats plus lots of storage space
無什麼撰擇、有小朋友、BB出街要帶備好多用品，strollers 嬰兒用品，食物等等⋯⋯。如果 outings 又要帶摺椅⋯⋯想 Van 是首撰了，待孩子們長大，不用放 4 個 car or booster seats 才換車吧！😃 以上你們看的三部車都只是能坐人！實用放物位置 too limited ！
All 3 rows SUVs are not big enough. Either the 3rd row has limited space or the cargo space will be sacrificed.

It depends on which part of Canada you live. If you drive in snow, you may want AWD option, with plenty of trunk room and leg room for your 4 kids. You don't want any small cars as there is no crumple zone for the third row which makes it extremely dangerous for your third row passengers if the vehicle were to be rear-ended by someone on the freeway.
If you want solid and safe vehicle, Mercedes GLS for sure.
If you want lower profile, to hide your wealth, you can have Toyota Sequoia, Toyota Land cruiser.

7 seaters SUV, unless you are shopping for a full size. If safety is your priority, I would not suggest any passengers sitting on the third row.

諗清楚啊！Land Rover嘅build quality唔係咁好，好多新車落地都唔少電子野壞，除非你唔係揸好耐啦，如果唔係真係要諗清楚。

講堅一定係xc90 b5，搵唔到野彈，小弟買過十幾部車經驗。

Hi Greg, I am from Toronto as well also back to HK. If you are looking for high class. Yes agree, SUV probably is the best choice however, if you have 3 kids I would take Odyssey for convenience and low profile.
