    I had two abutments and two crowns. When I left the office I didnt know I was covered with blood. I also took half a bottle of aspirin driving home. Then when I went to get the crowns the dentist in Tucson took off and moved to California and left everyone behind. He is still an approved dentist on my insurance plan. When I went to Mexico and got the crowns the porcelain fell off on the way home. The dentist said that the metal cap was still on the tooth so its still good. I never saw him again. I went to another dentist who broke one crown when he fixed the other one. I really hate dentists.

    Doctor I had a dental implant on my upper right central incisor area on the 13th November. I had a ridge expansion done to get the implant in, small amount of bone due to give recession. Lost my tooth a year ago...
    On the 4th December I have developed an ulcer like structure on my gum where the implant area is.
    My dentist said that it's potentially infected and I'm really scared. He popped the ulcer and gave me more amoxicillin and now a antibiotic called Metronidazole
    I don't really want to take the anti biotics because they're going to ruin my gut bacteria.
    Do you think there actually a chance my implant is infected or do you think it's a coincidence that i have an ulcer in that area 4 weeks after the implant

      Hi, I'm also missing a molar (I broke the tooth beyond repair due to bruxism, that one night that I forgot to wear my mouth guard...). I got checked to see if an implant was possible and I'm not a suitable candidate. The main concern was the tooth shifting that you mention, but the dentist told me that the mouth guard that I wear every night should keep the teeth at their right places, it kind of works as a retainer for me.

    • @BrunoSilva-ox2es
      @BrunoSilva-ox2es 3 года назад

      hi amanda, it depends on the current state of your teeth and also how complex your case is, if you have more than usual amounts of bone then the treatment will be quite straight forward however if you are limited in terms of bone volume then it can be more complex and take more treatment time. You need to have a thorough assessment with a dentist to get a comprehensive treatment plan done, this will usually outline the number of appointments and also the costs involved.
