Heartbreaking and normal disappointment. Hope, pooran and captain Powell batting caused the west indies to get kicked out. They all know the Caribbean wickets better than anyone else. They never tried to start building an innings. The team performed badly against all the top teams. Coach is not to be blamed, the players are the ones who plays the game. Nothing new from the west indies.
McCoy should never have played any match ahead of Joseph. Reason being both of them are pace bowlers and Joseph was selected in the 15 ahead of McCoy yet you play McCoy ahead of Joseph.
Captaincy was poor,early wicket Chase should be number three,hosein should not bowl three over straight,remember Chase got four wickets in the previous game and tell me why you didn’t bowl chase early,the last over should be Mayers
Once you lose an early wickets the batting order has to change. Chase, then Rutherford, then pooran, then the big hitters to finish. Russell is not a smart cricketer. He is a slugger who comes of sometimes.

Correct. Charles was the set player in the team. Also. They piked Mayers and did not even try him for an over at least. The captain is a joke. He can't lead. He is depending on the Mgr and others to tell him what to do on the field.

Once i saw after 10 overs we were just 69 runs, i gave up hope. West Indies surrendered at the most crucial time. Really disappointing! Extremely POOR batting!
Powell is not ready yet as a captain and a player. He should be dropped. He does not have the confidence to lead the team. When you defending a small score, you have to try all your bowlers as early as possible to take away their nervousness. Then you pick the ones who are bowling the best to carry the team.

I would not drop them. However, I think one of them is more liked by the powers that be and his ability is more amplified.
We were too predictable. Many said that Shamar didn’t have experience in t20, but he didn’t have test experience either and look what he did!
Truly believe Shamar Joseph could have made a difference..

Charles was dropped only to be replaced by a man who has not played cricket for over 2 months.....He did well in the circumstances.....
