It's called speed and style. Not enough emphasis on the style for me.
At first style was meant for tricks, like racer vs slopestyler, but slopestyler just dominates

Definitely some bias allowing Harriet to score 70 points on a no-hands where she lipped the landing, and only 67 points for Vaea's much cleaner no-hands with perfect landing ... yeah, Harry BS doin a Truck-butt backflip first jump is cool but the 2nd jump she should have been much lower score than Vaea.
Are the athletes REALLY hungry? My 60yo dad would learn a backflip and a 3 in a foampit in a few weeks. "the constant progression" is going too slow in my opinion, the ladies need to go to a foampit and an airbag to learn some tricks to make it fun to watch. Over all, male and female I think they should put more emphasis on style. Being in the finals doing shitty nac nacs, toboggans etc that are really really easy tricks is horrible to watch when you expect racing speed + slopestyle type of tricks.
