How to Outline a Screenplay with Conor Kyle!

This class is a must for anyone new to screenwriting. It will also be helpful for any experienced writers looking for help with their outlining process.
We start with the logline and help you refine and polish your concept. Then learn how pro screenwriter Conor Kyle "breaks" a story. This refers to identifying the important moments in your main character's journey. He will dive into how to structure and place your key scenes, and begin to establish connective tissue between them.
By the end of this class, you will understand the key concepts necessary to outline a feature film or TV pilot and be fluent in the language used to discuss screenwriting story structure and the key dramatic question explored in your script.
About the Instructor:
Conor Kyle has written for Shudder's Creepshow (2019) and placed twice in the Nicholl Fellowship with his scripts “Peter and the Wolves” (quarterfinals, also Launchpad top 10) and The Tube (semifinals). His screenplays have also been featured on special sections of the annual Hit List, Young & Hungry List, Spec Book, and on Tracking Board’s “Best Writers of the Year” booklet.
