Damn girl I've been cooking like that for over 40 years! Just like a roast fat cap up top, the breast get dry quickly. Cooking chicken upside down keeps it juicy.

Just a tip, if you don’t have butchers twine, you can use Tin foil…. Tear off a thin strip, roll it up like a pasta noodle, and then use it like a rope and wrap it around the legs of your bird. It is durable, flexible enough to bend without ripping, and oven safe. And, most people have tin foil in their home, so you will hardly be able to say you don’t have it! 👍🏼😊

If you don't want the outer skin of the carrots and want to save more time, you can use a brillo pad. I do that for my Idaho potatoes when I want as much skin off without peeling them as possible

Your overalls are so cute and perfect for the season. Also, you are so funny that you could do stand up comedy, if you wanted to… but I wouldn’t wish that on you or your precious family! ☺️ On a serious note though, yesterday I just happened to think about always seeing you put the bag of broccoli directly in the microwave, and it occurred to me that if you aren’t supposed to microwave plastic containers, maybe you shouldn’t be microwaving plastic bags either. I looked it up, and it isn’t a great idea unless the package specifies that it is microwave safe, so please rethink doing this. I know it’s a pain to dirty another dish, but I always put my frozen veggies in a glass dish with a cover to microwave them. Thanks, Mimi Robin😉

in a pinch you can use yarn and / or twisty ties like you get on a bag of bread. twist the ties together to hold the birds' legs together. your going to cut this off after the bird is cooked anyway.

On another post you were loading your dishwasher. You practically washed the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Just scrap the food off into the trash. Unless your dishwasher is so old it’s ready to die it should clean your dishes fine.

I don’t know who you are talking about but I always cook my birds upside down! It uses gravity to have the fat from the back travel down and toward the breast and gives the most moist breast EVER!
