    Romanian here 😊
Mulțumesc is thank you. Mersi is thanks.
Great pronunciation! You really did your homework. I love asmr în romanian done by foreigners, for the accent 😅
If you d like I'll give you some nuances.
The formal version is basically the plural form.
Cheamă ( a chema) means to call on someone. So if you say Mă numesc or you use the verb a numi it means exactly what someone is named. If you use the verb a chema, mă cheamă It literally translates to how others call me, how someone is called. Hence if you go into detailed understanding, you have someone's actual name and how others call them, like a nickname etc. We have a nice kid's poem exemplifying that.
Ce mai faci is definitely the most used form. It's usually friends or people who are close who ask eschother cum mai ești because it implies that you're asking how someone is emotionally doing. Whether life has truly been good to them lately. Ce mai faci is the polite version.
For notable authors I recommend checking out Lucian Blaga and Mircea Eliade.
I think the term Piață overlaps because historically speaking markets have been in squares. In historical towns like Brașov or Sibiu that's 100% true. Merchants from different countries would sell their products in squares.
The informal for shoes is Papuci. Most commonly used in Transylvania. Is an umbrella term for all kinds of shoes. While pantofi is a certain kind of shoes like leather or otherwise closed non sport shoes.
    Great job!

Deci aici m-ai lovit la sentimente! Pe bune, chiar am accent de strain? Eu credeam exact opusul. Sunt roman get-be-get, nascut in Timisoara.

Un an am locuit in SUA si am invatat dialectul lor. In rest doar romaneste , toata ziua.
