@sinanroyal5359 nice to see another monarchist, the succession line is a bit hard to pin down, and I'd say many lineages have a solid claim to the country, but some notable ones would be the descendants of an emir called abdelkader, the leader of the Algerian resistance against the french invasion, he's the most major figure in recent algerian history which was a monarch, though his descendants are spread all over since he was forced into exile another candidate would actually be the ottomans themselves, the country has a lot of influence from their culture and they shaped alot of it's history, though there is no real monarchist movement here, still not that far of a stretch since the neighbouring Morocco is among the only countries remaining where the king actually holds significant power On the military clique, it's power has been significantly weakened for the past few years, since it was forced to act in 2019 to remove a puppet dictator who was increasingly becoming less useful to it and despised by the general populace, that caused chaos among the shadow government and eventually almost all officials were in prison or resigned, that brought a relatively good governing reactionary into power, there is still definitely a lot of corruption going on in the lower levels of government, but I'd say most people in the upper command chain are doing the country well for now
@sinanroyal5359 thanks, I hope turkey is doing well too, while there are definitely some small ba'athist elements still in the government, they largely fell off after the 2000's, even more so after the chaos in 2019 The morrocan dynasty actually has ties to abdulkader's line, they offered him refuge for a bit after he fled Algeria and some of his descendants married into the royal family, hopefully us and the morrocans can come to a peace and Algeria establishes a monarchy

This anthem actually DOES sound similar to the Galactic Empire. I could see John Williams taking inspiration from Donizetti, who wrote both this music and Grande Marche du Mejidie, since he is known for taking inspiration from Copland, Wagner, and Beethoven. However, Mecidiye Marsi, despite sounding so great, does not scream Darth Vader or the Galactic Empire like the Imperial March. Still phenomenal music, but I prefer the Imperial March to this one. Sometimes, the anthems of fictional entities are sometimes better than those that are real, and the Imperial March fits that description.
@@mustafaaustinpowers5748 Yes, but to be honest, it just doesn't have the same punch as the Imperial March. It sounds less like a Turkish Darth Vader and more like a great piece of music. However, I do see how people say that this march sounds similar to the Galactic Empire.
