  • You have to have something to carry all this gear. For me, it is the Shimoda Explore Version 2 35 Liter Backpack with the Large DSLR Cube. Stylish and well-made, it is my bag of choice.

    This review definitely sold me. I was thoroughly impressed with how much you managed to throw in there and kept thinking “there’s no way that fit in there”. Amazing video!!

      Yes, it is a phenomenal bag that holds way more than you will ever need for a shoot.

    Great video Daniel! I just picked up the Action X70 V1 at a crazy discount at B&H. I am also an owner of the Explore 35L V2, Explore 60L and the Action X50 V1. All great bags that allow me to ramp up or down based on my needs.

      Yes, I am fighting the urge to get Action X V2. It looks like an amazing bag.

    Thank you so much for showing the bag in use, I get tired of the desk tours. Are you going to pick up the Urban Explorer?

      You are very welcome. I would love the Urban Explorer, but the bags I have now are doing a good job.

    Thanks for such a detailed demo, this is exactly the setup I'm looking to buy with the Large DSLR Core unit

    Enjoyed your review! Followed you and plan to buy the bag too (for portrait shoots as well! Not Landscape lol). Just curious how tall are you? I'm wondering if the bag might be too large for my body lol

      @@photographybydaniellee I've got few years ago Peak Design 35l backpack, which I like a lot, but it's side loading based and you can't open it like yours. With more lens and equipment, your approach looks way more manageable.

    Hey Daniel! Thanks for the great video. Do you know what size the camera insert/box is that come with the bag?

      I think the medium DSLR core unit comes with the 35L bag. I actually bought mine with the large DSLR core unit and then bought the medium one later. I use them both.

    Great review and show of your use case! I love my Shimoda Explore v2 bags. I have all 3 sizes, 25 for my wife and 30/35 for me. But I start to think having two for myself is overkill, but I can't decide which one to keep, medium or large :)

      I had such a hard time deciding which one to get. I like the bag so much, I wouldn’t mind having the 25 liter also. You know what, spoil yourself and enjoy them both.

    Have you seen the little $5 bulb protector for the ad200?

    • @photographybydaniellee
      @photographybydaniellee  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey, I actually own it. I stopped using it because it was so hard to put on. I felt like I would break something putting it on and that defeated it’s whole purpose.

      @@photographybydaniellee ah ya that makes sense. I love the little 4.7" reflectors. I most leave those on all the time, even tho I have nice soft boxes. I can easily fit 2 ad200s with the reflectors on in my bag.

    Can I fit a 200-600mm lens in this core unit??
