- A memorial ceremony in the German parliament marking 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp in 1945 took place on Wednesday. The camp in Nazi-occupied Poland was at the center of Germany's campaign to exterminate Europe's Jewish population during World War Two. Over six million Jews died in the Holocaust, including more than 1 million at Auschwitz.

And today Trump announced new concentration camps in Guantanamo Bay! Good to know my country has learned nothing!
Seek help for that water on the brain.
The burden Germany will have to carry forever.
The burden the world must grow from for a proactive change before we all meet peril.
You can't commemorate Auschwitz, without commending the USSR for freeing them.
Thank you. My great uncle fought in Germany against the axis powers. My grandfather fought in the Phillapenes against Japanese axis powers. What they have been through and seen at war was appalling and I cannot imagine what the people of the German holocaust camps went through despite having seen footage and heard many stories it isn't realized to the depth of the individual out of respect because I did not walk in their shoes and I must heed what they have to say from their experience with great weight.
Where are the liberators at the ceremony? There are many still alive And guess what All are Russians Shame Shaaaaaaameee
Uh, no? Every KZ West of Magdeburg was freed by the US, French or British (for example Bergen Belsen, Dachau and Buchenwald), as well as Mauthausen in Austria, while Sachsenhausen for example was freed by Polish forces.
USSR was anything but a liberator for Poland. USSR invaded Poland hand in hand with Germans in september 1939 and was Germany's ally till 1941.
Who liberated it?
The ones who invaded Poland had in hand with Germans in september 1939.
@Blanka1100 you meant German- Polish agreement of non-agression from 1934? How many Poles did Soviets kill in Auschwitz then?
@@Blanka1100 The same Poland that occupied Czechoslovakia with Germany a year earlier?
@@dmitryy841 Find out what "occupation" means and then we can talk. What Poland did was not that case.
@@Blanka1100 you mean German-Polish agreement of non-agression from 1934? The one who "invaded" you joined some parts of Germany to Poland, why don't you give them back?
Thanks
The Soviet Union liberated the whole of Europe from fascism , losing 27000000 people, and the people of Western Europe are grateful for this , unlike Western politicians.
While in Gaza its called Dejavu, so stop playing victims 😂😂😂😂
A corrupt government does not speak for the people it opresses.
Ever wondered what you would have done at any point in history during a genocide? There's no need to wonder. You're doing it right now.
Invite every party except AFD
Free Palestine
Now Germany needs to be liberated from globalists.
Is the party just for the organizers?
It's blasphemy to have any such commemoration, without those responsible for freeing Auschwitz: The USSR/Russia.🙄🙄
Russia excluded ITSELF.
