The real truth is this isn’t a Nicki vs. Cardi or anyone issue… it’s a labels/business execs vs. Nicki Minaj issue. Nicki took female rap to the highest heights, & is still the most dominant & successful female rapper of all time. And she’s managed to stay at the top for going on 14 years now. That’s longer than any female rapper in history has ever managed to stay relevant, yet alone at the top of the rap game. Labels & execs don’t like that. They want her gone. Problem is; they haven’t been able to succeed at it - because Nicki has something that can’t ever be taken away, & that’s a loyal & dedicated MASSIVE fanbase. They can try to take away radio play or damage her name in the press, but they can’t take away fans. And that takes me to these females, a lot of them now you see a pattern, they get a buzz, give Nicki praise, ask for a collab almost immediately, and then fall out a few months/year later. Nicki has caught on to that, they are using her. Let’s be honest Meg used her. And it had nothing to do w/ her collaborating WITH Cardi, but more so how she treated Nicki afterwards. Nicki is tired of being used by girls showing fake love, she’s a LEGEND, Nicki is from another entire generation & was a legend before any of these girls ever came on the scene.
