Thanks for speaking about the weak ankles on batgirl. They are horrible. I am returning her because of how unstable the figure is. It's a shame actually.
Nice to see the figures out of their packaging! I've been waiting to see how they fair and I really do want to pick up one or two of them. That batgirl especially, since its the closest thing we've had to a regular comics Cass Cain in a while. If we ever do get her, i'd bet she'll look great with how the masks came out on this one. Overall, very nice review!
I'm installing a new shelf today since I have some plans to expand my DC Multiverse collection, as it stand I've got barely any space left on the shelf I currently use for them, and this Mr. Freeze is tempting. I have the regular one and he'll stay in my Batman villains display, but I saw this in person today and whilst not quite accurate, he could pass as a halfway decent stand-in for Scavenger, we just got that Aquaman Page Punchers wave after all, he'd fit in there great.
they look soooo cool, really hope to get the complete wave but for some reason even after one year Mr. Freeze and Batgirl aren released outside of the US
These figures would have made more sense if the story was a tribe of prehistoric people that went hunting giant manbat animals in a cave, which would explain their armor and tribes look and function in this world
I might buy the mr freeze but only because he might look okay with mezco gotham by gaslight batman when he finally comes out lol. The mr freeze could use some serious repainting but I am considering it
Because he looks like an old diving suit, I was considering getting this Mr. Freeze and modding it into an Aquaman villain. But after seeing this video, I'm starting to get interested in the whole wave. It makes me think of some of the old Kenner Legends of the Dark Knight figures like pirate Batman and Joker but done with McFarlane sculpting. Dang it!
I picked up freeze cause I just love the design, had the others preordered but couldn’t afford them when they finally came 😢 , defo think I’ll go back and get them , I do wonder how does bats stack next to that gladiator designed sups ?
Rather than prehistoric, I think these look hyborian, which is the primordial era of Conan. Batman's design reminds me of the barbarian in Ralph Bakshi's "Fire and Ice" animated film, which I recommend if you haven't seen it.
Pretty impressive. I am sometimes more or less indifferent to "gimmick" figures like these, but, it's a good gimmick here, and the en result is damn impressive.
ooh heads up Brad just seen there is a Platinum chase variant of the Batgirl in this wave. I gotta admit she looks nicer then the regular. a purple/blueish cowl and cape, gold emblem and she has tribal tattoos on her arms and midriff .
I'm not even really a huge fan of DC. I just haven't really gotten into them as much as marvel, but I just saw these things at a Target and thought that that was so so cool!
I don’t know how you do any custom with these Tom final figures his master universe, but I try to swap with the Disney mirror verse with his Dread Pirate Roberts. the pegs are the ssme 9:50 with Jack Sparrorow arm fitting are just complicating to custom success duly Roberts Arm works on Sparrows Torso sucess robert s torso did not work with Sparrows. arms Pegs Fit Arms are loos head swap work sucess not a good custom ! Tod Mcfarlanf Figures. are very detailed they are only good for Display not customizing them they hard to work with i’ll stick with my Matel Classic s I want me a Mr Freez
Conan the Barman. 😁..Id probably pick Bats & Miter Freeze..That Bat torso Is probably the best up to date..it has that smooth transition from the chest to the abdomen, unlike the earlier figures were the cut made the ribs look they're floating..nice review always @Brad.
It's a little disappointing that the comic book is the same for each action figure.
It would be great if it had a four part story.
Batman and freeze are definite winners. 🏆

The head sculpt on Mr. Freeze makes me think of Kenny from South Park

The box style packaging is better for displaying and storage.

I'm fine with the comics being the same but having different covers is a complete upgrade from the older page punchers.

Bat-Girl , is supposed to be a Native American . That's why her hair is black not red/ginger .

I honestly had zero interest in any of these releases, but, once you put the Batman next to the MOTU figs he looked like he belonged with them.
This is the story where Mr. Freeze had to step out of his igloo to take a wizz and his wizzer turned into an icicle bc it was -36 F
A talented guy can make a very good cassandra cain out of this batgirl.
