I love this!! Great job Scott! I would love to find some of those Mitsubishi units! Never see that stuff.. I did have a very nice JVC 1010 series stack that would have been similar, but traded that for my now coveted Sansui AU-20000! couldn't be happier! This was like taking a walk into the past, even the music was spot on! thanks so much!

I think you must be referencing the Kyocera units, but Mitsu also made some fantastic gear as well. One would be hard pressed to find anything that can really best the AU-20000, although I will say, the Kyocera separates do give it a go, but they are also 10 yrs later roughly in production. I plan to create more of the music videos with vintage gear because, well, it is just seems obvious that cool tunes and cool gear go well together! :-)

Nicely done! Beautiful examples of vintage hifi components. The ADS L810s sparkled. I’m also enamored with your Denon turntable. My wife says we need one.

To, @stevezeidman7224 : Hey Bruh! You are a very blessed man.👍🙏This is from a 64 year old Black man O.G. and fellow music loving hi-fi enthusiast. My ex, and any girlfriend I ever had, ( Including my present one) would never have said that! I would probably freak the hell out if any of them told me I should buy a high end component. I dare not say what I have invested in my system! If it were up to any of them, they would have me listening to a mass market streaming device and cheap ass Bluetooth speakers!!🤣🤣

@@williamcampbell3868 You know, some of the best gear scores I have ever made followed the words "the wife wanted a Bose system so we could hide the speakers".

I really enjoyed your video. I consider it a real work of art. What artist and track accompanied this video? You are a better videographer than you give yourself credit for!

I had bullnose NLAs I regret selling. But I scored a cheap set of Marantz Imperial 6's that ultimately replaced them. Still wish I would've kept them as back up.

You can't beat the price/performance of the OLA/NLA models.

Cool! I was surprised to see you have a Yamaha CR-1020. I bought one near the end of 1977, when I was 17 years old. I worked at a local appliance/electronics retailer at the time (they sold Pioneer, Marantz, Sansui, Technics and more, but not Yamaha.) When I told my boss that I bought a Yamaha receiver (from a competitor), he was disappointed, and started making fun of me, asking why? I told him I did my research, and that's what I decided on (it's packed with features, adjustable loudness, switching for 3 pairs of speakers, subsonic filter, 2 phono inputs, and Yamaha receivers were getting good reviews overall in HiFi magazines!) At the time there were lots of choices, but everything seemed to be pointing towards that CR-1020. I paid $385 plus tax. It worked great for about 23 years or so before it quit, and I still have it. I plan to get it fixed, even though I have heard about the sealed pot issue Yamaha equipment had.

It ranks near to top of my list due to all the features you mention. You must have missed the video for it: ruclips.net/video/keQCogNRS_4/видео.html
