With a feature where real world locations are turned into maps. Alpha 1.1: three more guns are added. And skins are added aswell. Alpha 1.2: mr robinson skin is added. Beta update is almost complete. Beta 1.0: custom skin option is made. And two new gamemodes are released. Beta 1.1: bug fixes. And natural disasters are added 2019: Beta 1.2: trailer is released for the full release. Rocket launchers and flame throwers are added 1.0: game is fully released with many new features. 2020: 1.1: Free currency is removed. Players now have to buy skins for real money. 1.2: real world location maps are removed. As well as natural disasters. 2021: 1.3: mr robinson skin is removed. Many players go back to playing 1.0. 1.4: the final update. All game modes are removed except battle royale. Developers accidentally break the game causing many bugs. After that the game was cancelled. because nobody wanted to play it.
Lol it's like they were downgrading the game. Anyways, here are the updates in the last 4 years. 2021: Game is reset back to 1.0 and has many new features, many new skins, and many new guns. 1.1: Adds partys and in-game voice chat. Adds custom map support, along with a map editor for PC. 1.2: Project Pass is added, with many new skins and cosmetics. Custom character creator is redone, as well as icon skins for popular streamers and youtubers. Added backblings, survival mode, racing mode, and many more. 1.3: Bugfixes, various device support, Project Edward PE released (Project Edward Pocket Edition for mobile) on play store and app store, as well as uptodown. 1.4 - 1.8: Bugfixes and optimizations for PEPE (lol) 1.9: Winter 2021, Gifter, Quests added, storyline added 2022: 2.0: New season, new battle pass, main island created, updates to every mode, new skins, PEPE renamed to PEM (Project Edward Mobile), Music Battle Mode, cars added in main battle royale, UI overhaul. 2.1: Bugfixes and tweaks. 2.2: Creative mode added, and other such as PECE (Project Edward Code Editor), PEUIE (Project Edward UI Editor). 2.3: PES (Project Edward Smash) Mode announced, set to release late 2024. 2.4: Bugfixes, added car mods. 2.5: Many new guns, skins, car cosmetics, bosses, gun rarities. 2.6 - 2.8: Bugfixes, nerfs, and tweaks. 2.9: Winter Update, same as before. New years firework live event, as well as many more live events planned for developing the story. 2024: 3.0: New season, suction live event (Edward uses suction to move main island, destroying half of the island. Island moved to new location, as well as new POIs.) 3.3: More skins and guns added, as well as MineBlox collab, with MineBlox cosmetics in shop, and MineBlox limited time battle pass. 3.4: Bugfixes, tweaks, more consumables, PES documentations 1 - 5 released. And there will always be someone defending it, saying that it's always been that way or it's not that much or that the company needs more money. Despite the fact that it wasn't always that way.
But they had reasons to. 1. In order for them to continue using the iconic oof sound. (Remember that it's 2 seconds) They had to pay 24 million which is almost 40% of their company. 2. If Roblox didn't remove public audios they would keep getting sued by different music artists for their players that keep bypassing music from other artists. And they would go bankrupt.
@@Basmud 1. False, Roblox generated over 1 billion in 2021 alone, way more than enough to pay off the oof. 2. That is true, but instead of just blatantly saying "it's gone" they lied to us and said "oh it's gone temporarily and will be back soon!" (similar to the forums removal). Not to mention perhaps Roblox could have a copyright claim system that would automatically detect copyrighted music like in RUclips, that would warn players for claims and possibly ban for strikes.
@@LittlePonki So wait you're actually saying even a billion dollar company will pay 24 million dollars for 2 second sound? That's like almost buying an NFT for that much of a price Also 24 million is too much. It's obviously a waste of money. Also even if they make a copyright claim system I'm sure some players will literally somehow manage to bypass it a day later like how they did with the anti cheat system.
@@Basmud There's a difference between a forgettable 2-second sound and Oof, arguably one of the core memories any Roblox player has. And the second one is a fair point, but at least an effort would be better than giving up instantly.
@@LittlePonki Even if Roblox made an effort about the copyright system ppl would not care at all. So it's better for them to not do anything about it. Also even if it's memorable. It doesn't change anything it's a 2 second sound that costs 24 million.

A similar thing happened with terraria on mobile. It was fun and simple to play and then an update came where suddenly you have like 10 extra buttons on your screen to figure out. Lost interest in it after that.
Yeah like the concept of having parity with the other versions was good but including all of the keyboard shortcuts on screen straight away is jarring. At least they have settings to let you customize the buttons on screen to have only certain ones but they should've made it so there are a few when you start and you can add more if you want to.
at least they gave you reason to drop it instantly instead of slowly adding those 10 extra buttons. now 10 extra buttons arent that big of a deal because it got nice and slowly added and you got used to those 10 extra buttons. like every bad mmo with ways to increase power, the game is nice simple at start, you gain upgrades to your gear from enemies and game is nice. next patch adds way to increase your current stuffs combat ability so now you arent dependant on low gear % from enemy to increase power, next patch adds more and then more and then more and more and suddenly you have nice and slow game where 500 ways to increase power are dumped onto you when you start playing a new character and people are wondering why the game has so low player population.

2:31 bro started tweaking out💀
2:36 tuesdays

so true lol
you mean mondays?
@@Kham_GualnamTuesdays are worse tbh
love the minecraft storymode music
Few devs I've seen did this worse than One Hour One Life.
It had: Open world, do whatever you want, open pvp, create a civilization from scratch
Dev changed it so: Small world with biomes closed off by skin color, you are banned for doing things the town leader doesn't want to do, only the town leader can call for PvP, very rare fresh civilization spawns. The creativity level shot straight down.
For the first one at least the forth civ can have free rein on all biomes as a messenger group. The rare new civ spawn sucks though.

Before the updates that ruined it, it seemed pretty fun
Bro every modern dev needs to see this video
Yes.
im trying to become a dev an i think you just saved me
that would actually be a good game. i mean having natural disasters that are native to the randomly selected place you are in would be dope
Project Playtime after Phase 4: 1:40
1:46 literally Fall Guys when it was bought by Epic
Don't forget them adding a battlepass with the Tier 100 skin being the only thing somewhat worth the price
This is basically the story of hello neighbor.
Started off:
Creepy atmosphere
Good AI
One floor, so AI poses a threat
Comprehensible Puzzles
Now:
No creepy atmosphere (Graphics are too cartoony)
Horrible AI (once you trigger his hunt mode, it basically never turns off)
50 quintillion floors, so the AI can’t even touch you
Puzzles that make you wanna rip your hair out
That sad music gives me PTSD
It’s actually from Minecraft story mode
@@White-Spider_26 i know
And there will always be someone defending it, saying that it's always been that way or it's not that much or that the company needs more money.
Despite the fact that it wasn't always that way.
Facts, and then they call everyone "toxic complainers" who "all they do is complain, they will never be happy"
I could FEEL his laugh at the end
Roblox very similarly removed pretty much a lot. The iconic death sound, public audios, etc.
That's like almost buying an NFT for that much of a price
Also 24 million is too much.
“I have to continuously press X… to f***ing breathe.”
That is legit Manuel Samuel
Someone needs to make this a real game
Good Ending: it was an April Fools update and got reverted the next day
If this was a real game it would be amazing.
“I can’t move is my game glitched”?
“They removed running” 😂
This is literally every cool and unique indie thing known to man
2:45 LMAOOOO that reminds me of roblox bloxburg though, they made it so marvelous moods (a gamepass you buy to have all good moods) doesnt prevent you from fainting, u faint when u dont get enough sleep in the game but why?? then they made all jobs equal.... we wanted realism but not the bad realistic parts of life
The game doesn’t get ruined by the devs, a bigger and greedier company buys the game and turns it into a p2w game
It would be pretty cool if this game was actually a game irl
Apparently this applies to helldivers now
The minecraft story mode music is perfect
That’s honestly the Publisher’s fault. Not the devs……mostly
this is actally an insane idea for a game tho
This is actually how games are now.
*Mainstream games.
@@alexandreturcotte6411 sadly no. It goes to every game type, even mobile games. I mean, just try playing kick the buddy! Now u get an add for every kill which means an add every 15-20 seconds or so. Why doe.....
@@mr.ddhemmalshehri5611 I was talking of stuff who wasn't indy titles. Have a nice day 🙂
for a second i thought the disasters would also happen in the actual world
Same lol
basically overwatch
“I DONT WANT TO SPEND 20$ ON A SKIN!” Lowkey getting fortnite vibes
Overwatch skins be like:
its $20 or grinding your life out of it with XP glitches and weird stuff like a friend of mine does...
A Google-Earth first-person shooter PVP would go great. Realism can very much be the main selling point with illnesses and injuries if you are unsafe. The potential is actually insane.
Would you mind if i took the used this idea for an actual game?
I’ll make sure to credit you
I doubt you could, and btw, ideas aren't copyrighted, go ahead and make it if you can
Yeah I'm sorry but you are not going to be able to make this
do not actually pair with google earth tho only have major locations
I will play any amount of money JUST to play an actual version of project edward😭
Project Edward the sequel to the prequel of the trilogy
Felt this with rocket League
A similar thing happened with terraria on mobile. It was fun and simple to play and then an update came where suddenly you have like 10 extra buttons on your screen to figure out. Lost interest in it after that.
Yeah like the concept of having parity with the other versions was good but including all of the keyboard shortcuts on screen straight away is jarring. At least they have settings to let you customize the buttons on screen to have only certain ones but they should've made it so there are a few when you start and you can add more if you want to.
at least they gave you reason to drop it instantly instead of slowly adding those 10 extra buttons. now 10 extra buttons arent that big of a deal because it got nice and slowly added and you got used to those 10 extra buttons. like every bad mmo with ways to increase power, the game is nice simple at start, you gain upgrades to your gear from enemies and game is nice. next patch adds way to increase your current stuffs combat ability so now you arent dependant on low gear % from enemy to increase power, next patch adds more and then more and then more and more and suddenly you have nice and slow game where 500 ways to increase power are dumped onto you when you start playing a new character and people are wondering why the game has so low player population.
fr but terraria as a game is actually good
This is probably the worse thing to happen to a gamer
Rocket League after Epic bought it.
This does look like a fun game. But this video also reminds me of another video called if Epic owned Minecraft. There was one scene where it just said: we don’t know how to make a good game, so we’re just gonna disable to crossbows. Lol accurate video (this video)
The best example of this has to be Pixel Gun 3D
the moment is tried becoming a battle royale with battlepasses was the day my internal organs shrivelled up and died
This is how I feel about Roblox main menu music
This is like pixel gun 3D, right now it is a p2W hell
The worst is when they do the reverse and make things so expensive and valuable that either no one cares about common things anymore or you can’t get anything.
breathing sim is wild💀
