Stoked to see ya handle that fish in the proper way. Too many youtube knobs ramble on about how amazing the fish is as it suffocates. Awesome example of how to handle barra.
@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 your welcome mate 🤙 Looking forward to seeing ya hook up to one of the plethora of 120+ models swimming round that place atm
Nice mate now u got some Barra u should try to target Saratoga. I was fishing for Saratoga today got a few beauty's man they can pull some string another good video buddy keep it up.
Thanks mate. It’s depends with the stinger, if I’m using a weedless then no but if it’s fairly open ground I’ll use a jighead that allows a treble to be put on the bottom
I fished that same area of monduran last December and we got some cracking fish from that part of the dam , we did loose a lot of big fish just shredding through 80lb fluro lol
What a fantastic fish mate, congrats! I'd love to attempt one on the fly some time, obviously it would be a lot of casts between fish though.....how critical do you think the live sonar is, or is it achievable with just standard side scan?
Absolutely achievable without FFS mate, you need to get up to proserpine and kinchant dams and go sight fishing with your fly rod, you’d have a ball! You could definitely grind them out point fishing blind with the fly in some of the more southern dams too. Side scan is important because at least you’ll know if there is fish rolling past

Great stuff again Lubin, they're fantastic fish. So despite being lake fish, they respond to tidal conditions on the adjacent coast - that's crazy!
great video looks heaps of fun
They’re such a cool fish! Thanks for watching
Top vid mate 🍻👍
Thanks man!
That was sick! Great work Lubin, definitely a fish I need to tick off my list. 👏
Absolutely mate, great holiday from cod fishing that is for sure! Thanks for watching 🎣

Thanks mate. Amazing how they still follow the tides hey
So sick lubing reckon you could live scope a mullaway on live scope so sick
Just subbed and watched your content, awesome mate 👍
Great to hear mate, thank you!
Hey mate, cracking video! Are there any crocs in this lake?
Another great fish . They go really hard and it looked like you had a decent amount of drag on. Do you use stingers on the bigger 7 inch minnows ?
Thanks mate. It’s depends with the stinger, if I’m using a weedless then no but if it’s fairly open ground I’ll use a jighead that allows a treble to be put on the bottom

They can be brutal haha
Awesome. I've never fished Monduran - what's the barras' main food source there?
Thanks mate. I’d say bony bream at a guess
Hey Lubin what size jighead with the diesel minnow, thanks mate.
Hi Rod, that’s a TT snakelockz 1/4oz head and 8/0 hook

I don’t understand your talking about tides but monduran is a dam
