Hi, I have an Axion XM30s monocular and I'm struggling to find a way of updating it's firmware. I have tried the stream vision 2 app which re directed ,me to the older stream vision app only to find that my android smart phone (Samsung galaxy A54) doesn't support this app. Please can you advise if there is another way to update the firmware on this device. Thanks in advance.

If the firmware on your Axion is version 4.9.xxx (released in May 2021) it doesn't need updating. When you connect your phone to the stream vision app it will tell you if an update is required. You can find more details here:
      www.pulsar-nv.com/glo/support/check-your-firmware/269/
The Stream Vision app should work for any Android phone using Version 7.0 or higher, so check if that needs updating. It'#s also worth turning your phone off & on again after installing the Stream Vision app.

What do you do when the device doesn’t have a Bluetooth setting and won’t connect to the app? I have an XG50lrf and there is no Bluetooth setting in the menu and it wont connect to the stream vision 2 app.

I've just grabbed our Thermion2 LRF XG50 to check. Here's what you need to do:
      1. LONG PRESS of the main menu
      2. SCROLL DOWN to the Bluetooth option
      3. Turn Bluetooth ON
      (TURN ON the Bluetooth device)
      4. SELECT Bluetooth pairing.
(If that doesn't work, RESET the device to factory settings... SELECT the Cog option in the main menu, then Default Settings. Turn your device OFF and ON. Then try the above again.)
As for connecting to Streamvision2... see if this helps:

    Cheers.
When I connect my My XG35LRF to a charger with a flat or partially charged battery the green LED stays on and doesn't change colour at all regardless of how long I leave it attached .
    Is this normal ?

So I've tested an Axion XG35LRF for you and here's what you should see.
      CHARGING:
Flashing red light = charging below 10%
Flashing green light = charging above 10%
(Solid lights if unit is turned on. And the lights show for as long as it's plugged in).
      WHEN IN USE:
Solid green light = unit on
Solid red light = unit on / battery below 10%
      Flashing green light = recording
Flashing red light = recording / battery below 10%

      @@thomasjacksltd Thanks.
Mine only shows solid green no matter what .
Flat , partially charged with the unit connected and turned off .
Solid green whenever it is turned on during use.
Same with a second battery I bought .

      Do a complete reset:
      1. From the main menu select "General Settings" (cog wheel icon)
      2. "Format" the memory (last icon in list)
[Download any videos or photos you want to keep to your computer first!]
      3.Do a "Default Settings" reset
      (second last icon in list).
      4. Turn off the unit and wait a minute.
      5. Turn on the unit.
Now record something and see if the green light flashes.
Then charge the unit with it turned on (using the supplied cables / plugged in the mains) to see if you get a solid green light.
Then turn the unit off completely (ie not standby) while still charging and see if you get a flashing light. @@RGF56
