Just a few points I’d also like to share. These are things learned from watching a bunch of skincare routines from international and local beauty vloggers and aestheticians. First off, moisturizer is very important even if you’re living in a tropical place because the moist that it produces tricks your skin into thinking that there’s oil that’s been produced which in effect, lessens the sebum/oil that is actually produced in our face. You just have to find the moisturizer that works best for you. Second, the serum should be applied before the oil. The rule in skincare routine is from thinnest (consistency) to thickest. So technically, oil is thicker that serums. I know kanya-kanya ang skincare routine but there are some tips that’s really good to follow para mas maging effective and sulit and skincare products especially given that you’re using almost all high-end brands. Also, I learned that facial wipes are not really good for our skin (and the environment) because of its additives/preservatives plus it could cause wrinkles in the long run because of too much rubbing. Mas better daw deretso nalang make up remover either oil or water-based. Im not bashing or anything, it’s just that I wanted to share the stuff I learned from watching a gazillion skincare routine vids. Thank you and all the best!

The oil will just sit on top of your skin. Maybe you can use a serum before the oil to address the sensitivity and dryness of your skin. ❤️ There are other dermas who would recommend a moisturizer. The patches are good to protect the pimple and it absorbs the pus. 💕xoxo

Thanks for sharing Janine. We used the same serum, EL night repair. But La mer is too pricey for me so I use Olay regenerist. Then I make sure I have a facial every month.
I actually agree with you on the moisturizer part, that's what my dermatologist told me too. Moisturizer is good for people with dry skin to help moisturize the face, but for people esp with oily skin living in a country like the Philippines where it's already hot & humid, putting moisturizer on just makes your face even oilier. Best to put a tad moisturizer before going to bed at night like what you normally do for skincare, but def not recommended before putting makeup on. 😊

I would suggest the Mia care pimple patch that is readily available at every watsons store. I have been using the Cosrx pimple patches for years because Koreans and Vloggers rave about it a lot until I've tried Mia care because I've ran out of the Cosrx patches since I get them online back then (avail na rin sila sa watsons now) . Trust me, the Mia Care one is more effective on draining pimples especially those that have pus in them. And it sticks on your face the whooole day!

Just a recommendation to use the shu cleansing oil instead of the wipes! So the more you can be much more gentle on your face :) and a plus is that there's a certain chemical to keep the wipes moist :(
Hi Janine! I think you should put serum first, then oil, then moisturizer. 😊 They said that serum penetrates the deeper layer of your skin thus you should put it first. Moisturizer should be the last since it is thick and it only settles on the outer layer of your skin. That’s what I learned from watching all these RUclips videos 😅 but still, you do you. 😊💕

There is no rule on how to remove or what to use on make-up, buuuttt using wipes can irritate and pull the skin. It is best to use gentle cleanser to use remove it.
RE: Lips - the Lucas Papaw Ointment (or any product with Petroleum in it, specially if its the main ingredient) is good for wounds/cuts but not for the lips. All it does it "protect" from outside elements thus being good for rashes/burns/etc, but it does NOT hydrate. I recommend Lanolips (also multi-use).
