The team won’t abandon Shiro; Keith and Pidge both view him as a older brother. Lance and Hunk are close to Shiro they genuinely care about his well-being. Every one of them has seen Shiro vulnerable or a flashback yes it scares them when this happens but everyone only wants to make sure he is okay. The team has been through so much with Shiro he’s their leader but he’s also a friend so seeing Shiro in pain or fear makes everyone want to help so he will be okay because friends don’t let friends suffer from personal problems they can’t handle alone.
The mix of canon dialogue and music so often go wrong. It most certainly doesn't here. I think this is perhaps the vid I have ever watched where this works and works extremely well. Good work-- it's very emotional, and music and diallogue blend together so well to underline the mood.
