@@GentofteBadmintonKlub I'm particularly grateful to him as I learned to play using the video tutorials he made >> still the clearest explanations of overhead technique I've found anywhere!
Very nice to see! Wow his fitness level is insane! How amazing to play against a world champion. Unfortunately for your club, perhaps not the result what you wish for, but quite a treat to have so many incredible players in Denmark
Peter's premature retirement from the professional circuit due to injury is a true regret to badminton fans. At his peak form his all-out attacking ferocity and delicate net shots were truly phenomenal.
Oh! This brings back memories. I still fondly remember a Rasmussen racket from Carlton wayyyy back. It wasn't even an isometric (but the design was starting to take over). It was oval. Performed great. I preferred it over the Carbonexes of that time.
Exactly. Peter has other interests, but is still very much involved in badminton. His kids are also talented players competing at junior level in Denmark. Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated.
Love to see this match! It's very motivating to see older players still being competitive! Tks for sharing this great match!
Many thanks for sharing this! Peter Rasmussen is a fantastic player.
You are most welcome, Max. He certainly is a very skilled player. And - it seems - his offspring are equally talented.

He moves faster than all the 20 year olds in my gym.
;-)
Rasmussen’s win over Sun Jun is my favourite match ever.
2 hours and 5 or 6 minutes of men’s singles badminton at its finest…👍

I want to see a game between him and Lin Dan. It would be legendary.
peter rasmussen still look dangerous in the court.not easy to beat him even now

Why hasn’t he become a national coach? Maybe his interests are more in playing than coaching?
