Just came across your channel. Always enjoy finding another guide team. What kind of dog is Boston? Also if possible could you consider adding a description of a text on screen. I am visually impaired so was able to see that they was able to tell that their was text their but not able to read it and I always feel like I missing something important when there’s a lot of written text without verbal information.
@asecretcourtofcrowsandcloc4084 Hello! Yay, another guide team! My bf usually does the captions and I tell him what to say, lolz. I will definitely do an audio cover next vlog so it's more accessible to others who have issues with their vision. Boston is a Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer cross :)
@service_poodles Congratulations on being the most uneducated in the comment section! Not only am I blind and need his guide handle (the long handle), but my left leg was never developed properly in which he's performing both counterbalance and FMP. Both are mobility tasks. My needs are much different than someone else's. I need a sturdy handle to provide assistance. A pull strap is not only too flimpsy, but even if it was rigid it would be uncomfortable for me. Next 💕
I had this supposed trainer tell in me in summary that both corrections and positive reinforcement used on a dog to decrease and increase behaviors, is somehow abuse and slavery, essentially he was comparing dogs to people, and stating that even using a leash on a dog is a form of punishment, he went off on some WEIRD stuff, lmbo.

for forward momentum pulling you would need a pull strap not those handles
