    I just started collecting iem's, they are like kittens.
    My girl stole my bl 03 in June, same day linsoul had 618 sale.
    I ordered replacement bl 03 and went with Legacy 3's.
    After checking out I got 8 as my last digit, totally Free!!!! My whole order!!!!
    They are now my favorite most expensive free iem.
    Linsoul I gotta say heck of a organization.
    Your very concise review was watched by my gf as well, now is asking to borrow my Legacy's.
    Cheers.

      Kittens nice analogy. I had to sell my collection of iems due to COVID 19. The collection included: FiiO FH7, Noble Audio Sage, Campfire Audio Andromeda Gold, looking to sell Audio Technica IM70 too but in exchange getting 64 Audio Trio and getting custom Legacy 3's maybe the universal one too.

    Can you suggest Tin T3, Starfield, ME 80, and L3?
    I need relaxation and a wide soundstage and I like warm sound with good detail, not overwhelming bass just good punch and rumble is enough.

      Actually, around that price you should look at the CCA CKX. Prime audio and inToit did good reviews of it.

    Hey man, this is a really good review!
    I own L3's too. It takes a while to notice changes with the dipswitches.
    I have been using the 00 mode, but lately i noticed something with 01. It sorta enhances the treble, it gives more splat to snares, and thickens the mid bass. It also brings the vocals a bit closer.
    Listen to Here We Go by Lower than Atlantis, try comparing 00 and 01.
    Cheers man!

      Hi, thanks for the comment. I tried it, multiple times, multiple settings. I really can't comment on any difference. It's possible my switches are not properly connected, although having the same issue on both seems strange. Here's crinacle's graph that reflects what I hear: crinacle.com/graphs/iems/thieaudio-legacy-3-l3/

    • @Assimilator702
      @Assimilator702 4 года назад +1

      Jemuel Pacson Yes I noticed the same thing with the 01 setting. Snares and hihats were sounding a bit flat and dull on the 00 setting. I might order custom faceplates with the better 2 pin connector and send my pair back. I noticed the wires slip off easy so that’s technically a manufacturing defect.

    Hi i know im late but if possible could you please compare them with the moondrop starfields?

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  3 года назад +2

      I had the kanas pro for a while and those are almost identical to the starfields. I thought the moondrop tuning was very good, but closer to the harman 2018 target. They have more bass and more upper mid-range emphasis than the legacy 3. This can be nice from time to time but for overall listening i found it more fatiguing than the L3. I preferred the sound on these.
      That said, the starfields are much better built and if they're your only iem, they will last you a really long time. Longer than the legacy 3.

    Can i tame 2k and 8k peak?
    I use iem for working, i used blon bl03 for long listening section, technically is not great, but nice timbre. And i know what are you talking about "bl03 struggle with some music 😂".
    I have kz zs10pro and blon bl03. Zs10pro is very good iems, but for long section listening make me dizzy because little bit sharp and energetic.
    Is it bl03 like L3 legacy tuned?
    Enjoyable? Or more like zs10pro?

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  3 года назад

      More like the bl03, but less shouty and less boomy. I doubt you'll find it necessary to eq, but they respond well if you need to.

      @@DanAndreiVladut is it good to have 2 pins version? As i know, 2 pins connector more easily to loose the grip than QDC. Most people complaining about 2 pins connector. Is it true by your experience? I am have no iems with 2 pins connector btw. I have KZ ZS10 pro which have QDC. Yes it has crack, but still okay and still have a good grip.

    Are these the blon 03 upgrades ? are these double the value of the blons ?

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  4 года назад +2

      Depends on WHAT you value. They don't sound twice as good as the blons. I don't know what does. These fit me better, they isolate better, have a better cable and engage my musical preferences best. To me that's worth $120-$200. It's a complete package. The blons come close in sound but fall way short elsewhere. However for $30 they're bangin'.

    • @DanielBerthellemy
      @DanielBerthellemy 4 года назад

      @@DanAndreiVladut I'm currently on Shozy 1.4 and im not liking them at all, paid 150$ on Drop and feel robbed, it's hard to listen to music because soundstage is odd. music feels like its behind me and some instruments are far seperated. Should i go for blons or get L3 ? I also heard from few reviewers that chi-fi is not consistent and for example different people had different experience with their pairs of L3, they compared graphs and low and behold they were different. for me 120$ is a lot of money so i don't want to gamble.

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  4 года назад

      @@DanielBerthellemy audiophilia is like fine wine. The quality increase in the first $10-$50 you spend is crazy. After that you keep getting less and less for each amount of money you spend. Honestly, start with the bl03 or bl05. Get yourself a few different pairs of tips (dekoni foams, some wide bore silicon, narrow bore) to switch it up from time to time. Then you can buy yourself a nice qdc cable and carefully file down the connector on the iems to fit. You can make for yourself something really special for $60-$70 and you won't regret that.

    • @DanielBerthellemy
      @DanielBerthellemy 4 года назад

      @@DanAndreiVladut So you are saying go for blons instead of legacy3 ? im guessing instead of puting 70$ into blons it is better investment to buy L3 since it doesn't need anything to be replaced, also my ear canals are deep reaching so I'm not sure if blon will do it for me.

  • @asianhat8660

    If you have any of these - kz zs10 pro, zsn pro and cca c10 - could you tell me how the size of the L3 compare to them? I have very small ears and in my case cca protrudes an incredible amount while the kz iems do an alright job.

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  4 года назад +1

    how do they fit compared to the bl-03 and the shure se-215? I'm thinking about getting them L3, but the blon bl-03 fit like shit and the shure fit like a glove.

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  4 года назад +1

      They fill the ear better than both for me. The Shure is smaller, for sure, so if your outer ear is tiny, these might be too big. I suspect that you can adjust with tips for pretty much any size inner ear. The nozzle is not very large.

    How do these compare to the BGVP DM6s?

    • @DanAndreiVladut
      @DanAndreiVladut  4 года назад

      The dm6 are a lot sharper in the 7k-8k range. They are fully sealed and the bass is surprisingly nice for an all BA set. They fit very similarly but the L3 is a little more compact and comfortable. Overall, the tonality of the L3 is better, the timbre is more natural and the bass response is more realistic. Also, the typical BA metallic mid-range is not as obvious on the L3. I sold my DM6 a long time ago. I preferred the Kanas Pro over those at the time.

    • @DanAndreiVladut
