Ancient green slate adze recovered in Ohio

I found an ancient stone tool in the woods of Ohio. 👀
This piece of green slate was worked into a chopper/axe tool called an adze. The bit is super fine and polished. Nicest in my collection so far!

@@davelink1318 Oh nice, yeah I mainly stomp around Portage, Summit, and Medina counties. This adze is definitely one of my nicest hardstone tool finds and a thrill to pull from the dirt!
