      @@GeorgeSchneider8889 you know the federal income tax has yielded 17% of GDP irregardless of top income tax brackets (same yield from 90% to 35%), yes? It changes behavior. That’s ideology of how you want people to act not deficit related lol. Aside that, I can send you some economic papers that show government spending is not particularly related to tax incomes; quite frankly it means nothing.

      From 2000 to 2024, $5.5T was spent by corporations in stocks buybacks instead of being reinvested into creating new jobs. Those buybacks were tax free until 2023 where they were taxed 1%

      In 1965, ceo to employee salary ratio was 20.4
      In 2021, that ratio was 389

      Why they forgive my credit card debt as well, that would be fair. Trump is proposing free greencards for all graduates, much more effective measure that don't puts whole nation into more debt.

    For clarification, what student loan forgiveness is being done that was not approved by Congress? The public student loan forgiveness plan was approved by Congress in the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007 in a bipartisan manner and signed into law by a Republican President.

      And prepaid each year by entrants 10 years in future for pslf. A pslf loan forgiven in 2022 was pre paid tax and govt funding in 2012/13 congressional budget

    Please, let’s not forget all of the equipment that was left behind in Afghanistan, as one of many examples. Bought and paid for by the taxpayers and we just walked away from that. Stop charging interest on student debt but it still should be paid back.

    We need to tax Texas a flat 25% of GDP every time one of the guns sold there is used in a crime in another state . They would be bankrupt in a month .
