Rather late but those are leitmotifs. Most obvious one being the main menu themes for the main games using the same leitmotif of Theme of Eastern Story.

But one day came Renko in a dream, and fight with Yukari, because Yukari has say to her: Go back to your world, you are to weak. Go home" And then was a big fight, from to old frinds..... This is one of those music when ZUN makes it pretty Relaxing and charming at the same time..
