You are inspirational sir.... I have a 72 Chevelle, that had an unintended off road excursion. I knew the only way I could afford one was to get one that was totaled or rusty. But my intention is to cut off the bent stuff, use an awd olds bravada frame in the front, gen 4 5.3, and leave it fairly rough looking. Scyclone drivetrain, with a cool rusty 2 door wrapper.
@@Freddie-adhd-Abe that sucks probably a home built copy of a left hander or something not hard to copy a chassis builders made chassis make a jig by setting the old chassis up on a huge perfectly flat metal table like in huge metal fab shops cut out clips and other pieces of metal to use as your jig trace the bottom frame rails onto table with soap stone and start fabercating using measurements and making spacers and saddles like you use in ship yards to drive a metal wedge down to clamp the new rails and stuff to the jig or table surface so you don't have to do so much grinding to remove the welds you placed on it to hold it down very easy if you got some knowledge lol. And it's fun copying a built chassis for dirt tube chassis and Camaro and metric stub modified chassis and anything really you can copy
@@Freddie-adhd-Abe and then you live the jig all together and if you gotta reclip the front or rear of the car you strip it set it back up on the jig and put your new clip on and reassemble the car I done it a few times with every tube chassis or any chassis I have so that way I can reclip a car and back together in two days to race following weekend
