Another of your wonderful postings. Thank you. I wonder if you might have a series of programs I saw in the early 1980s ... there were perhaps six episodes (maybe more) and each episode focused on two Paris Opera dancers rehearsing a pas de deux, and then they performed it in costume. It was a very interesting series, but I have not seen it since. Perhaps you might know the series? Best wishes to you.
Hello 🙂! Glad you've enjoyed the videos. Yes, it was a ballet series named "Les Grands Pas Classiques". You can watch them here (you have to create an account and pay 3€/month or 30€/year to waych them) : madelen.ina.fr/collection/grands-pas-classiques-117 I've never seen them on this platform, but it seems to be large extracts only. I have to check my own videos, which are complete, but some of them have very low quality. There is another interesting series called "Passeports pour la Danse" (1990's) which are rehearsals of young dancers with an Etoile as their teacher. You can see one on my channel here : ruclips.net/video/wkau4hPB1C4/видео.html
@@Clafoutis-t2y Thank you so much for that prompt reply and information (I am sure others will be interested too). I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Best wishes to you.
@@lori2151 It would be great! My dream is to see again 'Les Mirages'. I've seen it only twice : with Maurin, Platel and Loudières for the first time. Unforgettable. The second time, a few years later, was less good...
Would be wonderful to have the full version of that 1972 Giselle with Chauviré
Thank you so much! This is so beautiful! Had never seen it 😍😍I wonder if there’s any documentary about Carlotta Zambelli or Rosita Mauri?
Hello ! Glad you've enjoyed this video. To my knowledge, I don't think there are documentaries about Zambelli or Mauri. Unfortunately.
