    @Keiloces hey keiloces, ell circo d'ell fuego (antwerp) made it for me, it is a rubber grip yes, it is basically an isolationtube and i've been using some of them since several years and they stayed well, never had to replace them. usually is just highwire it buth this was an easy way out to fix it..
    thanx for the comment

  • @Keiloces

    I may not be able to read if already asked but how big is the pole you are using in diameter and is it straigh steel or is it coated in a rubber neoprene material. Making a Chinese pole for the studio to punish my students who like bruises but need specs .... Oh and will bring you to the US in March if I get enough interest so keep march 23 2013 open if possible.

    This is amazing but I'm kind if pissed that when women do the same tricks they're calle whores and strippers even if they're not taking their clothes of or shaking their goods...

    • @beebopmc73

      Little Wolf Taima I think you're confused. This is training of a circus skill called Chinese Pole. Although, like pole dancing it involves a pole, it's not the same thing. Pole dancing, however, is becoming a highly acclaimed skill - as it should be. Unfortunately sexism is still rife in daily life, but don't hate on this video because of it. Dude got skills!

    • @SobrietyandSolace
      @SobrietyandSolace 9 лет назад

      No, I am well aware this is Chinese pole as clearly stated in the description, but some of these moves (and some from Indian pole Mallakhamb) are also incorporated into Western forms of pole sports/dance. Unfortunately, some people cannot keep their minds out of the gutter and completely ignore the strength, flexibility and coordination it takes to do any of these disciplines when a woman is doing it. I have great admiration for this guy, rest assured. It would be GROSSLY hypocritical to be dismissive of his talent.
      I see you have a zebra in your avatar, are you also interested in equines? :3

    • @beebopmc73
      @beebopmc73 9 лет назад

      Of course the difference is, though, that pole dancing is a provocative artform. Although it requires great strength & stamina, the moves are supposed to be seductive & alluring. Chinese pole isn't. It's just a display of strength and agility.

    • @SobrietyandSolace
      @SobrietyandSolace 9 лет назад

      Not necessarily . Modern pole art and pole sports are exactly that; aerial arts performed to music and sport, where men and women compete internationally in single and double divisions. There can be no sexual component at all; in fact competitors have been disqualified for removing an article of clothing as it could be construed as stripping. Artistic and competitive pole dancers are just as distinct in their style of the form from what goes in strip clubs as are the pole mallakhamb and chinese pole performers.
      It is more rhythmic gymnastics and/or lyrical dance, but the pole just happens to be the apparatus. I'm not trying to 'cheapen' the ancient art of Chinese pole by saying it is exactly the same, but some forms of modern pole dance are very closely related and *not* intended to be at all erotic or sensual.
      I personally switch off the moment I see pointlessly suggestive movements or stripper heels. I'm not a prude, but I'd rather pole artists keep the sex out of the discipline, so that people might appreciate it on an artistic or technical level without being... Distracted.

      This guy makes the best pole dance look like child's play. Pole dancing involves flexibility and flow. This is just pure strength and agility.

    This is absurd dude. Are you a circus performer? There's no way you don't make a living off this with the level you're at.

    • @jessehuygh
      @jessehuygh  6 лет назад +1

      yep... i do make a living out off it... Touring as a circusperformer..
