I do!! 100% love your bike And I also agree with the fact that if you look for comfort , stay in your couch. I have a hard seat R9T and I rather be on it more than my couch. ❤
Texas buyer here. I just bought my second R18. This is the coolest bike on the road. I like your videos. They helped convince me to buy my first R18. 👍
Wow, nice bike. I'm in my 50s, and I just caught the motorcycle bug earlier this year, went out and got my license in April, and then bought a used Scout Bobber within a few days of getting the license, and have been riding ever since. I've been riding primarily with my cousin who rides a Softail Standard, and he has been pushing me for months to get a Fat Boy. Probably next year, I'll sell my Scout and buy a slightly bigger bike, and I had had my mind set on a customized and blacked out Fat Boy, but just recently, I have been considering an R18. Yours is one of the nicer ones that I've seen. The only thing that I would do from that is to get a wider rear tire because I just can't get the image of a 240+ rear tire out of my mind. But other than that, it looks perfect.
Today we meet on the road. in the Arico area. I loved your motorcycle. Although I have a Mv Agusta Brutale 1000 RS, the R18 fascinated me since it came on the market, and the customization you have done on it is perfect. Congratulations
Am I right to think that you recorded the video in Tenerife? Canary Islands? Anyway, I ride an r18 first edition and a r1200GS, very different bikes but the r18 puts a smile on my face every time I ride it. Greetings from the USA!
Sehr Schon! Here in Montreal my Harley dealer is connected to the BMW dealer so when I was getting my Road King serviced I was checking out all the R1800 models in the showroom. I love the look of them and might be tempted in switching teams!
Very nice bike, I bought an R18 Classic three weeks ago (need the bags and the pillion seat) but if I had cash and garage space to spare an R18 Bobber from Walzwerk would be part of my lineup 😁 at the moment I just have an 850 GSA for the wet, cold and very long stuff as backup bike.
@3:15 in the video.. what are the clutch and break fluid reservoir/levers? i have the same exact bike.. just hate the huge clutch/break levers/reservoir. thx!!
The bike just isn't practical for many riders who need to stretch out their legs on a long ride, and yes long rides do happen. One fault like that can kill the longevity of a bike. There is just no place for a rider to stretch out his legs. Some riders might not need that, but there are so many who do and would not consider the bike only for that one reason.
You can easily buy a kit that will allow you to stretch out your legs or you can buy highway bars and stretch out your legs as well. In any event BMW sells more bikes than Indian and Harley combined so the boxer seating position doesn’t seem to matter for most people.
May not be pretty, but sure is practical. Might have to sell my 75/5 toaster and 100/6 owned both since 1984. Nah! Like a newborn, there's always room for one more.😊
You said too many times "yes I like it". Yes of course, you spent your money as you liked to do. And probably you spent a lot. Up to you, of course. The original R18 is absolutely better than this customised yankee-style result, that probably you will never be able to resell, as it's hardly based on your own personal taste . Be happy.

@@DM-ci2nn that sounds good ;-) enjoy your R18 . Is an amazing motorcycle in my opinion
I totally agree with you! If you want to be comfortable ride a car. If you want to feel alive... Ride an R18!

BMW has done it! They've built their very own H-D all while being unmistakably BMW!
Zero similarity to a Harley
@@Iswhatitisssss Zero? Zero! Man that's ruff!!
@@Iswhatitisssssyour right it's far to reliable to be a true harley.😂
No, BMW built an R18. BMW doesn't build Harleys. Harley builds Harleys. BMW builds BMWs.

Need a passenger seat for the Girlfriend.
No no, dont need a 2. Seat ;-)
The way the engine protrudes on each side is very unattractive. Not good
It's authentic BMW.
