And Xiao Xiao is such a ride or die, in the beginning I thought she was going to be weak because that's what they do to the cuties. But she could really put up a fight and stick it out, so proud of her! Really like how they made her more gorgeous and lovely over the years as well - perfect couple!
I really liked this episode. Though they compressed several chapters into one ep, it was still perfect. I loved Xiao Xiao and He Caitou's part. They were cute af! Xu Sanshi and Nannan's part was also well presented. In fact, it made sense this way since Nannan still hasn't gotten over her trauma. So I presume the donghua team will bring them together after Ying-Yang Love Query Valley and I'm looking forward to it. Yuhao and Dong'er's part was great as well. I liked it that his flexing was toned down a bit and how he didn't think from the start that the veiled girl was Wang Qiu'er. It was great that he was enlightened at the correct time unlike the novel where Dong'er needed to hold his hand first for him to realize that it was actually his cute roomie 😂It showed how well he knew him since his figure, gesture, posture all seemed so familiar to him. In my opinion, the fighting scene was also OK. Since it was a dating event, no need to make it too complicated. Anyway, from the start of the donghua people have been commenting whether they were gay or not. Personally I wouldn't have minded 😏 So I guess it was kinda obvious that they were catching feelings for each other - Wang Dong had been obvious while Yuhao though feeling something, was still clueless about it until the last moment. So the kiss may seem a bit rushed but I really don't mind it all that much. Truthfully, I'm glad that it happened before he shared his bread with Wang Qiu'er, so it worked fine for me 🤗
In Haishen Lake Huo Yuhao finally found the girl of his dreams and I'm happy for them that he and that girl are now lovers. Also He Caitou and Xiao Xiao are lovers as well as they're perfect with each other though.
