My fiancé and I have put together 9 and yes 9 of these shelves in less than 3 years. We still without fail have a hell of a time putting these together. Thank you for your awesome tutorial 😊
Thank you so much. They could have at least put the letters of the panels on the pieces. But watching your video made it easy to put together. Thank you again!
thanks for this video! my friend gave me two of these units disassembled without instructions, wouldn’t have been able to figure out how to assemble them without this
No, not needed. But if you have kids or elderly in the house, like in earthquake prone areas.... highly recommend. No nail method pick up some command strip loop and hook removable strip with the highest rating 5lbs for small bookcases or 10 lbs more for larger bookcases. Apply to the parts and tack to the wall. It's not full proof, but something is better that nothing as someone that fell and pulled an unsecured bookcase on to themselves. Painful lesson learned.
man i was following along and put the dowels on the outside and now i can’t get them out with my hammer without stripping them. 1st step and my shelf is already ruined :(
For anyone else this happens to... pull it out. You can get a pack of replacement dowels at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, or Walmart. Dollar Tree sells a pack of dowels in the craft section you can cut down. In a pinch toothpicks with a tiny bit of white school glue works as well. No need for fancy wood glue. This tip also works to fill the stripped hole for your door stop. Just pull the hole with toothpicks till you almost can't anymore. Then last 2 or 3 add a smidge of white glue. Let set for an hour, they screw your door stop in.
These directions helped so much. Got to build a new bookshelf and the background music makes me feel like I’m playing Skyrim at the same time.

Awesome! So glad you liked it!
Best instructions so far, thanks!
Why is it so hard to show the actual shelf instead of yourself?! It’s impossible to see anything at all
Read the directions then… he didn’t have to make this video for you Karen

If you’re dumb and can’t follow instructions, just say that

Still lost and it’s like you installed it upside down 😢 how the heck do i connect the two shelves they aren’t lining up
So the instruction book says the middle section is Al not a G. And no matter how you put it. It doesn’t match up.

Nothing is matching up. OMG I should’ve paid to had it assembled that El Panal in the middle doesn’t match up no matter how you do it.
Help! I messed it up before I found this.
Same. I put too many of the wood things on one of the panels and now can’t get them out.
HORRIBLE CAMERA Angle
This makes no sense how are you building something and not showing it 🤦🏽♀️😒 fail
