79 - 80’s.......nothing sweeter than waking up to some parang music and the sweet smell of “cocoa tea, ham, fresh baked bread, SPICES”.....just fills the air of CHRISTMAS......Memories of when Christmas was Christmas.....Caribbean/Greenz/Stonz
Thank you for these parang songs. My mom just perks up every time she hear them. It’s a blessing, especially when a parent has Alzheimer and they come alive with the beat. Our family’s from Lopinot , Matelot, Arima, Toco regions, so we know about parang. Anytime of the year this music is comforting to her.
This song brings me back as child growing up in the early 80s huh cant get those feeling again man..oh plus my grand father was alive and all his co workers use to come over and drink eat...a lot and being the first grand child he took me anyway with him around this time
yeeeaaa boy!! same vibe with me here. u hear pig squealing 3-4a.m. n music jamming, black cake eating, rum drinking. it rel change. but i think there's ways of keeping it alive

I would like to see Trinidad do a big concert. Honoring the great Calypsonians. It would be nice for the young Calypsonians to go in the Vault of what is the meaning of all the Classical. Trinidad has always been bursting like the hottest Volcano with talent galore. I'll give you a 9 butterflies.
