Awesome job! Really ! I love the weathered look. Like old muscle cars left in barns for ages or old trucks out in a field you drive by. Just great stuff. It came out great !
She's looks Awesome Great Job It's Amazing how things change over the years We used spend hours cleaning and polishing & Waxing All in a attempt to avoid rust Now We spend hours Cleaning prepping and sanding just to Apply rust but a old trail Rig just doesn't look right with out it because it's not rust it's trail credit every ding dent and broken bit has a good campfire trail story behind it any day on the trail is a good day 💯😎🤘✌️🏁🏴
With the weathering pigments you can spray some hair spray over it or even a matte clear coat (lightly) to preserve them. On the rust all and the rust streak type stuff it basically stains the paint so it’s not coming off with water. My methods have changed a lot since this video. Always trying new methods out.
Hi, Really neat work. Can you please describe the list of the materials in the bottles you used in this video (preferably with correlated bottle no') ?
lkt002 Most of what I used on this build was a 4 part kit, Rustall. I think it is only available on their website. I ran out of the blackwash (step 2 in the rustall kit) and attempted to make my own by watering down a testors model paint flat rubber color.
I see these days you are using the AK interactive products, do you prefer those over these kits? I’m just starting my first build and bought the AK off your list.
I forgot about the rust all kit it’s been so long. It worked well, I can get the ak products locally though. I’m so use to working with it now. Plus they have a lot of different types of rust it’s been fun to experiment with.
Defenders only rust on steel bulkhead and mostly from inside out. Body is all aluminum w plastic wheel flares. A scratch will be white looking.I know, I have one. Roy is correct

Nice scale diorama at the back. Where did you buy them and are they 1/10th scale?
+MAPAHaus5 I built it and have added the little details

Will the powder stay there without coating it with anything?
+HYPERGARAGE it kind of stays. Looks dirty but it will mostly wipe off with a rag or it gets wet.
Hi what exact colour green is that? Thanks
Is it TS-28 green?
I dont remember for sure, I believe it was ts28 or 29
+RC Everyday Thanks m8
Very neat but landrovers are built of aluminium so that they don't rust

The body of the Landrover is made of aluminium.
