To clarify: This is a BVR shot and you probably can't see the missile hitting the target because it's so far away, however you can see flares being deployed so there definitely was something. The Du 35 probably pre-notched in order to avoid getting locked, the missile likely hit at that altitude

The missile fired here is the long range R-37M. It's the large one, carried between the engines. It's a massive Mach5, active radar guided missile with a range in excess of 200Km.
It gotta suck being in the receiving end of that.
Yeah, there’s been lots of reports of MIG-31 and Su-35 pilots scoring kills with this sucker. Sure, the PK of an R-37M isn’t the best against an Su-27, but fire enough of those at one of them and you’re bound to score a kill. Rinse and repeat.

@@justintimbersaw3934 Well yes, but long range missiles tend to carry a lot more explosives than their smaller colleagues, so it sucks noticeably more

Better than staged Ukraini videos destroying their own abandoned vehicles
Shot at 0:27 is roughly around the small peninsula of Byriuchyi Island. You can see the small Lyman Lake at the bottom offset to the right. The SU-35s likely took off from Rostov-On-Don millitary airbase. You can see on google maps, that there is a SU-24, SU-27 and the SU-35 parked just to the far bottom left of the airfield, on the western most part of the runway.
At least that's my educated guess. But this would mean the aircraft is either on it's way back from a sortie or it's perhaps flying around defending ships.. Anyones guess really. But it looks to be the Sea of Azov. Which would make this around Kherson Oblast.
From what I can tell, it looks to be anti-radiation missile, (can’t think of the name) so it’s probably going after the radar of some sort of Ukrainian SAM site.
@@rebelliousfewt’s not, It’s one of the missiles under its fuselage, And in the hud video you can pause it and see clearly it’s no the Anti-radiation missile on its wing, You can also tell because of the circle around the fighter he is locking.
@@rebelliousfew You're thinking of the KH-58 missile, which is the Soviet/Russian version of the HARM missile. But it's not that. It looks like a R-37M. But hard to tell. Strange loadout it has to be honest. With this loadout it looks a lot heavier on the left wing.
@@bojack9737 Most likely not a fighter, but a drone. Theres been very few air to air kills this war. I think only one MiG-29 was lost. A Ukranian one.
i think it is 2x R77 underbelly (the fired ones), 2x R73 in the wings' middle pylons, and a Kh-31 in left wing inner side.
the pictures from the wing camera are mixed whit other plane cuz the Kh-31 disappears between cuts, and then reappears in the landing shoot.

Clarification:
There is a Kh-31 (or X-31) Most likely of the P-variant Anti Radiation missile, under the wings of the Su-35S. This was most likely not the missile fired.
In the opening shot, we can see both R-37M and R-77 being carried by the Su-35S. EDIT: On one frame near 0:46 we can see it's an R-77 being launched.
The R-77 has a maximum range of more than 100km. The shot was most likely made much closer. The missile archs up into thinner air to gain speed and energy with less drag. It dives down a the end of its trajectory to hit enemy aircraft. This is the trajectory used by every single BVR AAM.
This means the missile is minutes away from impact and would definitely not be visible.
We dont know if it was a regular r77, r77-1 or even r77m. if it was the regular one it would never have a range of 100km

As western propaganda have been saying that everyday Russia loses 150 tanks, 250 infantry vehicles, 130 airplanes, 90 helicopters, 60 drones, 18 war ships and 300,000 troops.

10 million Ukrainian have fled the country. EU economy is on the verge of collapse. Russia is doing well. Selling oil and gas and agricultural stuff. They are advancing in every direction in war. Ukraine army is about to collapse. They have no food, no cloths, no hope. Nothing🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
And worse than everything is that no one in the West is ready to say beginning this war was a mistake and we lost to Russia. But they are ready to prolong this war to the last Ukrainian. Also sooner or later Zelensky will flee the country before Russian get him.

Title is deceiving. No evidence of a confirmed hit shown. The thing Russian aviation has been doing is just yeeting R-37M missiles from exceedingly long range and praying they hit anything. Because of how far out they are, Ukrainian pilots have described dealing with these missiles as "annoying" as while the missiles themselves aren't that dangerous in their terminal stage (given range), Ukrainian pilots kind of just have to defend as they can't shoot back. Really, I don't think they're hitting much, and the sortie rate Russia is using their Mig-31 interceptors at is definitely not sustainable given maintenance requirements and spare parts.

AND WHERE IS THE PLANE DESTROYED?
Yes
It’s a BVR engagement. Do some research.
Beyond Visual Range combat ( BVR ) is a kind of aerial warfare which is fought at a range the pilot can´t see his enemy with his own eyes, what means that he must track him using it's radar or ther long-range detection systems.
Most engagements in modern fighter warfare don’t happen in dogfights where the pilot can see each other we don’t live in the 40s we’re in the 21 century a-lot of engagements happen at 50km or more where radars and long Range missiles do a lot of the work and it the pilots job the help guide the missile to the enemy and or preform defensive manoeuvres like notching (turning 90 degrees to the a plane’s radar to cause confusion to the radar because a radar at least a pd radar or pulse Doppler judges on an aircraft position by how fast is moving towards or moving away from the aircraft and if you are flying 90 degrees to the radar you aren’t move away or towards the aircraft) which confuses the radar and missile which make the missile more likely to miss its target and there also chaff typically pieces of metal foil which can confuses by returning more pings to the radar. Theres more I could say but i cant be bothered
😂😂😂😂😂this is cringe
For those who are surprised by the trajectory : soviets and Russians air-air missiles are well known to have a much mire elliptic trajectory than their counterpart of the Empire/Terrorist Axis, allowing them to reach with a high speed with bigger angle from the top their target, even if the booster is empty. That's why their missiles have a tendency to gain trajectory at the beginning of the flight

Even the Russian Air Force wouldn't be as stupid as to publicize real-life BVR tactics from an ongoing conflict on video. They're usually classified. We don't see Ukrainian planes or any sort of confirmed splash/kill.
It shot 3 R-77-1 i don't think you waste that much money on a single training flight, also you ain't gonna see a splash on a BVR, plane started evading after shooting, so you couldn't see that either way
You are wrong. Ukrainian planes do not fly so high because they have very weak Soviet-made radars on board. Ukrainian planes fly no higher than 500 meters, but here the plane operates at a high target. This is a teaching.
And it’s a big myth that Russia doesn’t have the money or rockets to train pilots.@@cassaia7805
