I'm a truck driver and wanted to bring my pens with me without leaking while driving with all the bumps and vibrations and going up and down hills and mountains so I needed something to also keep them upright. My mom is a quilter, so I asked her to make a roll up pen case for me that I could put in the cupholders that are at the foot of my bed. She made 2 for me and they are AWESOME, one has skull fabric and the other has insect fabric. I draw a lot of skulls and insects so the fabrics are perfect. I can now bring 15 or so pens and not worry about them leaking or rubbing against each other. Aslo saved a bunch of money. Moms are the best.

Aside from the vegan leather issue (it does not hold up) and the VERY high price, elastic is a total non-starter for any pen case. Elastic degrades, and you are left with a very expensive box with a sagging string.

So Beautiful. There are no various fountain pen cases in Korea that carry large pens such as Montblanc 149. So I made a fountain pen case with my father who does leather craft as a hobby. It was shown to the fountain pen lovers around, who filmed and uploaded a video on RUclips to show many people the process of making it. I'd like to improve my pen case further to make a good quality pen case.

Be careful with the pen sleeve. I bought one and the color starting peeling after a small scuff.
There is no such thing as a truly durable vegan leather. If I didn't use leather, I would go with Nock or Rickshaw.
I've eyed theese for a while but ended up going with a solid good old pen pouch like a gun holster for on the go. I think that pouch will outlast me and keep em safe till the end of line. For at home they got theire own spot in a solid wood and real glass display box. Incase I just take one or two along I usually cary mine in the Montegrappa Felt Pouch that came with the Elmo Ambiente. What is it about pens I bought the Elmo Graffiti from you last year and since can't stop purchasing theese "candy canes" in all sorts of colors?

pretty ridiculous pricing for fake leather. case looks amazing and great but they used cheap material and charged premium pricing.
Too much money for me. ☹️ Nice though.
