I'm so glad that Spinelli finally stood up for himself, Maxie didn't treat him right at all & he loved the sh*t out of her, he was selfless always putting her first, he loved her unconditionally and he almost died saving her life. I actually completely agree with you. Spinelli was pretty much emotionally abused. However, Maxie begged him not to tell the truth because, for once, she was putting someone ahead of herself.

To have to tell off, stand up against, the person that you love most… is not an easy task however, he did it, because he knew that he deserved better.

The writers always take the best scenes & give them to the wrong actors & actresses this was a once in a lifetime scene & to me it belonged to Kristen Storm the original Maxie it's just not the same when it's a substitute.
Wow what a change Mac finally treated Spinelli with respect after all the degrading name calling & treating him like dirt which Spinelli never deserved he might've been a geek & even worked for Jason but he had a good heart & a phenomenal everlasting love for Maxie which both Mac and Maxie should've appreciated bc imo Spinelli loved Maxie like no other man ever had before.
I think Mac had finally realized by that point that Spinelli was (trying to be) a good influence on Maxie and really had no reason to doubt him. In fact, a better influence than Mac himself, as he could've done more to head off such selfish and self-destructive behavior and didn't. 😕
With Johnny, it's like the writers never knew what to do with him. But he and KS shared incredible chemistry, and it was wasted. Coop was a good guy. He knew when to call her out and when to be supportive. I wonder if Coop was related to Brenda? That would have been a good story.
I miss Coop and the writers really screwed him over to make him look like the TMK, that whole storyline was awful! He and Maxie were so sweet, and yeah, he was pretty understanding, He only really got mad when she started pushing her vendetta against Lulu too far, but he forgave her and he at least didn't put her down like this. They dropped the ball on JoMax. Wasted chemisty there.

If you guys don’t remember who she was, she was the FBI agent who helped Spinelli between January and April 2009 when agent Rainer was threatening to put him in prison. Yeah, she was awesome. Although I think her and Ellie were both perfect girls for Spinelli. I could see them being sisters somehow, they have different last names but they could be half siblings. I mean the actresses were somewhat alike, at least from what I’ve seen.

Ellie had no connection with her, but Lulu is her best friend, and Britt was her former SIL.

Yeah, their early friendship was nice, and he did keep her from going off the rails after Georgie and Matt died, but then he got all entitled about her romance and that's when I stopped liking them.
