Hey mate I'm unsure as to why they may conceal there face? Maybe there scared, maybe it's so they can just operate anonymously, maybe for shock tactics. I don't really delve into it to much, as mentioned it's the music I take away from it. There viewpoints certainly don't align with mine, I've served in the defence force, as has my grandparents. That being said I'm open and curious to all forms of art and expression, if you write good music and it pleases these ears, I'll listen, I just don't get that deep with it to be honest. To me black metal should be dangerous as well as welcoming, it's inevitable you'll find musicians who have a different outlook on life and reflect it in their music. Wolfnacht is probably my favourite 'naughty' band and Goatmoon. All of these bar Einsatzrippen were new to me so will check out the rest. Keep them coming mate

@@matoxdeepshadows got another one for you. Fresh off the presses a new band from Blasphemer (ex Mayhem, Aura Noir, VLTIMAS) called RuÏm - Black Royal Spiritism. I get heavy Maniac era vibes from this album with the vocals and being Blasphemer was with Mayhem when Maniac was there so it makes sense but it rips. Goes from heavy and fast to very melodic parts with Maniac style whispered vocals. Some haunting and power stuff. Hails 🐐
