I love in a college town and the thrift stores do NOT have the same gorgeous furniture options as your area ! I have found some neat little baskets at our ReStore and vases for flowers for teacher gifts. But ready-to-o big stuff? Nope. I would have to develop a talent at recovering chairs to make it reasonable to purchase thrifted chairs.
I enjoyed shopping with you! I don’t like to pay that much either but in your market I would prob go back for the dresser! Our restore is extremely high priced…maybe ok if you’re just buying for your home but definitely not for resale. I do have a lot of luck at my thrift stores with home decor but unfortunately not furniture. 😩
