If u want unbreakable to work,ur arnour has to be full health or even half where it will not break in 1 hit,even with unbreakable it takes dammage but it repairs itself

It takes around 6hours for that boss to spawn by the way (Thanatos ) also idk how he killed it at his level, or without dying
