@@balavaid212 I have given the possible reasons. The issues are more common in India. Southern region faced freedom struggle differently. Jan Sangh s presence in South was meagre. Jan Sangh believed in nationalism, Hindi, UCC ; RSS encouraged bachelorhood for the cause of social work. North felt the Islamic plunder more, especially Delhi. Dravidians doubted the so called Aryans/Punjabis who also came from Pakistan.
TN was notorious for caste fire. There were/are anti Brahmin anti upper caste feelings. Brahmins upper castes did exploit lower castes. Periyar had indoctrinated people in Dravidian ideology. The present party ruling in TN is anti Hindu , especially Brahmins. After JJ s demise AIADMK is not so strong. Hindi Punjabi phobia was there.
In Kerala Communisn stronghold was/is there. Andhra had less trust in North. It got separated from Greater Madras. Telangana had to struggle for a separate State. I don't think that BJP so favoured separation. It aligned with Naidu.
Karnataka- BJP has some support due to anti Tipu , Savarkar , Maharashtra effect.
Puducherry is so so for BJP.
Dravidian ideology among people has 2 change. It will take time. BJP did win Tripura and made inroads into East, especially Bengal. The problem with BJP is its generally poor English skills. It focuses on Hindi. Slowly it is revving up its Southern machinery. It made inroads into NE. So, so, things will improve. Abolition of Article 370, triple talaq, now 33 pc reservation for women in Parliament and Legislatures, UT to Ladakh, coldshouldering of Pak, valiancy with China, GST are important achievements. South has 2 realize. If the national party has leaders like Annamalai there are hopes. Tamilians (as a Tamilian I know), Keralites have trust deficiencies with the North bastion.

Article 370 which granted a pakistani citizen J&K citizenship if he/she married a J&K citizen whereas a J&K citizen if married an Indian (who is not from J&K) lost his/her J&K citizenship shows the hypocrisy and the one sided bias of the lawmakers who proposed & implemented this back then. I simply don't get members still debating in favour of such laws which should have been repealed long ago. Disgraceful to say the least.
