- My wife Chris and I head out for the Labor Day long weekend with our dogs to my friends cottage. Just so happens Lindsay and Norwood's skateparks were on the way...
Thank you so much for the review of Norwood, it was my very first skatepark I ever got to work on! Addicted for life now! The section of flat where the surface is starting to pop off, that whole pour was almost lost due to the heat and the areas that are starting to pop/ are already patched are areas where water was puddling while the concrete was being finished which ultimately compromised the surface in those areas, live and learn!

Norwood is Awesome and one of the best parks you have ever visited and reviewed on The Ontario Skatepark Tour. Fantastic skating! You have so much endurance! Aside from some of the QC issues with areas of the concrete, the flowing concrete waves of this park look like so much fun. I can imagine that you could keep yourself entertained at this park forever due to its incredibly diverse terrain and features. Amazing looking bowl.
There are endless lines at this park!

I found your channel from searching for the Norwood park. I volunteer to organize the 2024 Campbellford competition (next town south east). One of the skaters is organizing a skateboarders' bus tour to hit 4 parks in one day, most of the day at Norwood. It looks great from your footage and good for you to provide so much detail.

@@TrueMotionVideo Thanks. I think it's the first effort at this concept by the young man organizing it. For clarification now I have the details, all the skating happens at Norwood from Noon to 5 pm. The other parks are places he'll pick up and return participants (Picton, Belleville, Madoc). Saturday June 1st (Rain date: June 8). $20/person. My social media will be promoting it and I'll be there shooting video.

Go Pro Max or Insta360, both cameras are great and come with easy to learn software.
