Blade Runner 2049 is an absolute masterpiece of science-fiction. I never thought I would see a movie of such quality, and this soundscape is a three-hour love letter to it's auditory greatness. An amazing job, made by a true fan.
It is an extremely poor quality homage to the original movie that told a story that nobody asked to be told. It was good enough that the original movie presented us with a window into the lives of Decker and Rachel that left us with our own questions to answer once the window had closed. The soundscape is beautiful but it acts equally well one for the original movie, not for the sub-standard sequel.
I've listened to this at least 100 times while studying. All I really need in life is a career where I can live comfortably and watch Blade Runner 2049.
Of all the creative figures of art and content that I have experienced throughout the internet since it was created decades ago, this reprise is singularly the most masterful & beautiful rendition of everything I truly love and that inspires me, personally. Not only the original story, universe and theme but as a whole the level of effort, attention to quality, selection of score & imagery, re-engineered. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for crafting such a wonderful presentation. I would hope that those credited would approve and accept this subject of work. I spent every second watching and listening to every detail with delight.
When I fly off to Mars, and there's nothing to see out the window except tiny pinpoints of light, i'll put this on headphones and enjoy some well-deserved float-time. Thanks my friend.

@@karl7567 Nah, it's not that. You're probably referencing the "Loudness War", but I opened this in Audacity, and compared it to other tracks. The total volume for this track has been significantly reduced, beyond even accounting for the loudness of contemporary music production. Easy fix with Audacity, tho. Now it sounds very good, without my having to double my normal speaker volume.

The original tracks have an incredible amount of purposeful clipping which proved to be quite tricky to restore (even with UHQ sources), a consequence of that was lower overall volume. Ultimately I think it was an incorrect volume setting on the final export. Oh well.
Beautiful. I wish I could hear it looking down on the worlds of Trappist or Gliese. Stirs something very deep and very awe inspiring. I sometimes forget the capacity for wonder. Thankyou

I have a projector because my work involves being a protectionist so I got one for my little flat in the middle of Glasgow and I put this video against a bare wall with my surround sound on and the lights dimmed and it was raining outside with the modern neon signs mixed with gothic 18th century scottish brickwork and buildings outside and I realised I really am living in the 2020s
