- I made water filter under my house for pure drinking water, direct water from the lake is not healthy for me.
I made 3 levels of baskets which i made from vines, and use 3 elements such as river sand stone charcoal to purify the water.
Subscribe Primitive Evolution Channel now to watch our primitive work later. Thank You
Are u sure there is no crocodiles in this water ?
actually we do not know about crocodile in this huge lake
i was more worried about snakes.
No one never knows in any water
what type of plants are those?
Where is this beautiful place?
I'd be boiling water after it was filtered... especially as it came from such stagnant areas. Much higher likelihood of bacterial contamination.
Alyssa H thats the point of the charcoal
gravel at the top, sand in the middle, charcoal at the bottom. charcoal should be fine like sand.
Was about to say the same thing.
The possibility of viruses and micro protozoa still being in the water are great. Especially if you use the same container to dip the raw water and then use it as your catch basin.
I have worked for a municipality water dept. This would not be safe enough for mass consumption. It would remove a lot of floc or debris. It would be best to still boil the water, use chems or UV solas type treatment.
I enjoyed the video. It shows great resourcefulness and skill.
wouldn't the charcoal at the bottom darken the water
Ramy Melhem
Maybe a little at first but it would clear up.
So then why did they put the charcoal layer in the center rack? The OP suggested that the charcoal should go at the very bottom. You would want the black color to filter out with another layer of rocks below it...no?
I am officially impressed! That water came out a lot cleaner than I expected. I would have still boiled it first.
Several things that struck me as odd with this.
1. The order is wrong. Should be gravel, sand, then charcoal. Also some sort of cloth under both sand and charcoal.
2. Cross contamination. Using the same container to collect dirty water then the filtered water, will contaminate the filtered water.
3. This a pretty modern method considering it is suspose to be "primitive". This means they have knowledge of microscopic organisms, that they cause disease, and the effects of charcoal on them.
4. There is a difference between bacteria and pathogens. The final step is always boil your water.
5. He keeps filtering it and pouring it back out, then filtering more completely dirty water; just a few cycles of this &.. presto , crystal clear. Glug Glug (pours out the rest of the clean water)

Why you need a cloth? A cloth is just the sediment filter and doesn't do anything after it's been filtered. And cross contamination... he is just activating the filters. All filters need at least a few liters to be working so why not using the same water a few times
Yeappp, that's what I thought too,he used the same container used to collect the dirty water to collect the clean water.
Usually when they say "primitive" it means using primitive methods or with primitive materials. Also, people learn about disease from experience.
120 minutes tho that water clear as hecc
BRAVO!!! How incredible a challenge, to be over come.
How Got talent you are about creation!
เป็นวิดีโอที่ดีมากๆๆๆคับ🥰🥰🥰
I lived on a island in the pacific cut off from any big cities or towns.. for a few months with now money, We used charcal to wash off the oil burned stuff in pots which worked better than any thing you would find in a shop...and just walk over to the beach to use sand to scrub it just like sand paper.
Hahaha it turned crystal clear. Fun to watch
Your videos are very artistic, amazing camera angles and great quality work. Keep it up! Love your videos!
another great lesson!
I really hope that all the credit goes to this guy in the video his awesome
Super.👍👍👍😗😗😗😗😃😃😃😃
Vary good
Good job boy . Thank you for this amazing inventory that all people can be learned ...
You should end learn this, because it won't do anything! Do you think charcoal magically cleans water?
Sangat bagus
You are doing well. awesome video.👍👍
Amazing videos. What do you do when you get sick? Do you have remedies, herbal knowledge?
Very good.....👍👍👍👍
*Junior Bear Grylls*
Great job!!!!!
He has beautiful hair.
I like that he made hanging baskets for the filter, made the video more interesting.
Super cool 👍👌👏☺️
MUITO BOM. VERY GOOD!
Your layer order is wrong. Gravel must be on top of the system for filtering larger chunks (eg: leafs and other large particles), than the sand is for filtering smaller particles. After the sand layer the water is mostly clear but can contain bacteria, minerals and other microscopic things. The charcoal layer must be fine as the sand or finer than it so it can filter those microscopic things. After the filteration highly recommended to boile the water to fully kill all kind of bacteria.
does this way kill any bacteria thats left in water? where I live, humans have dumped so much in our waters its just not safe anymore. alot of sulfer, calcium and rust. will that clean it you think?
สุดยอดครับ
The charcoal is supposed to go on top, gravel second, sand last.
basket & lily pad leaf good start ... non-fired clay pots better, no holes in bottom.
You did it!
a similar setup but 3 layers of the same filtering setup. all the layers of filtering materials for each basket. makes 3 stages of filtering.
Only coal is enough. Gravel and sand are for big particles. Since your water doesnt have any big particles more coal means less bacteria. Coal is the only thing that filters bacteria in your filter. Pebbles and sand are mechanical filters. Coal is chemical and organic filter. It filters some chemicals and nearly all of bacteria. Next time try making coal only filter you will see what i mean.
the water is yellow meaning there is silt in it.
Gravel at the top then sand and then fine charcoal at the bottom. I would boil it too, but their body is use to drinking water like that and it is basically harmless to him.
Generic charcoal sucks as a filter. For good filter you want activated charcoal... which is hard to produce from generic charcoal with primitive instruments. Then your best bet is coconut shell charcoal, which is partlially activated as it is.
You don't need the gravel basket. First basket with sand will filter out dirt, worms and insects. Second, third, etc. baskets should be filled with coconut shell charcoal. The more - the better.
Water still won't be 100% safe, but will be waaaaay much safer.
Safest drinking water with primitive tech... I think it will be something like carving a zeolite pot through which water will slowly seep through. The main issue is to find and mine some zeolite.
A working appendix is a wonderful thing. lol
good video
It's all about natural & sustenability concept...the haters can't understand that. The details don't count because improvements on this is not a big problem , yo.
AWESOME
thank you
Is clear water the only criteria for healthy water?
good job
thank you for comment, please come back later for another video
The charcoal should be rinsed then crushed in a mortar and pestle and put in the last stage of filtration.
The water still needs to be boiled atleast 5 mins after filtering to make sure bacteria and stuff is killed off.
Still better than nothing.
I want an Easter basket.
wow idear new
thank you for comment, please come back later for another video
FYI also, don't use the same bowl you dipped into the river to get water as your clean watch bowl.
Kind of defeats the purpose of purifying the water.
Can you show us how to make and find food
Is that charcoal (from wood) or just coal. Sorry my english is not the best and I'm a bit confused ^^
'Course, that filter only gets ya so far, unless your innards R particularly hearty, it's still best to boil what you filter.
wow!!
thank you
I'd like to see how they start a fire.
This is a native American filtration.
Bom
after the author of the video drank water, we will not see it for a couple of weeks.
It was bottled water he drank...
Zen, almost..
💪🏻👍🏻❤️😍
that filter is not good enough for drinking even if it looks clear, hope you didn't got sick. You need to boil it before you drink it!
do all the primitive channels got the same cmera guy?? :'-D
They makes their camera with vines and baboo with some rock 😂😂😂
could care less about that
Neals Cebrian
that's not my question
they have team work
Nara Khoun
are you saying most of the people in these channels know/help each other? that would be cool
The carbon must be the last.
Lucu2 komene :v
I would boil it first.
these people still live in the stone age
I aint never going to that water
U should boil this water
А как же выпить?
nop, charcoal must b last
You cam build a boat
yes, sure
im pretty sure that last bowl was bottled water, i mean its crystal clear, then when you let it start filling it has the yellowish tinge again. Are you running out of ideas?
I ts normal : he didnt show he pour the bowl water in the filter so he purify the water
This filter is enough to make crystal clear water. This is how your tap water is filtered. No thing different.
most city water is filtered sewer water.
budgel mcgraw it is bottled water notice the suspect cut in edit
Yeah I understand that clear water is possible from a charcoal filter however this one wouldnt produce what they drank, and why would they cut the video like they did?
Boil? yes of course. Although there some people who live in jungles or remote areas that can drink like this because of the difference in bacteria cultures in their stomachs. But in most cases. Boil that shit
aaa
Funny waste of time. Try this and get sick as a dog!!
ssss
good idear
nice
